Use an AI agent with a browser automation tool such as Playwright to open the booking page, inspect its accessible page structure, verify that the fare visibly includes “INR” or “₹,” and then capture the viewport, a fare card, or the full page. Do not assume a page shows rupees because it is an Indian site: confirm the currency on the rendered fare before saving the screenshot.
What you need before you start
- A browser session controlled by an AI agent through Playwright or another browser automation framework.
- The specific booking page and route, dates, or search results you want to capture. This walkthrough does not assume a particular booking site or its currency settings.
- A clear capture target: the current visible screen, one fare card, or the entire scrollable results page.
The available documentation supports the screenshot workflow, but it does not establish how any named Indian booking site selects or displays INR. Use the actual page you need and verify its displayed fare and currency in the browser session.
Use an AI agent to inspect and capture a booking page
1. Open the target page in the agent’s browser
Start the browser session controlled by your agent and navigate to the booking page. Continue only as far as needed to reach the relevant search results, fare, or itinerary. The exact controls and steps vary by site.

Ask the agent to inspect the page’s accessibility snapshot for relevant controls and visible text. Playwright describes accessibility snapshots as structured representations that agents can use to understand and interact with page elements. After navigation or a state change, take a fresh snapshot: references from an earlier page state may no longer apply. See the Playwright page documentation.

Have the agent locate the intended route, travel date, itinerary, and fare. Before capture, check the rendered fare itself for an explicit “INR” label or the “₹” symbol. If neither is visible, stop: the screenshot would not verify that the displayed price is in rupees. Do not infer currency from the site’s country, domain, or intended audience.
3. Choose the capture scope

Playwright supports PNG, JPEG, and WebP screenshot formats. Its scale setting can use CSS pixels or device pixels; device-pixel output provides higher-resolution capture. Full-page mode cannot be combined with a target element. Consult the Playwright screenshot API for the options available in your installed version.
4. Save the image with Playwright Python
Once the agent has navigated to the correct state and verified the visible currency, these are the basic Python capture calls documented by Playwright:

5. Review the saved screenshot
Check that the image shows the intended itinerary, date or route context, fare, and “INR” or “₹” label. Also look for clipped text, overlays, and unreadable small text. Use the accessibility snapshot to locate controls and read page structure; use the screenshot to verify what is visually present.

Troubleshooting
The fare appears, but no INR or ₹ label is visible
Do not claim the screenshot shows a rupee price. The displayed currency has not been verified. Check the booking page’s own controls or help information, then inspect the rendered fare again; this workflow does not establish a site-specific currency setting.

The agent cannot find the fare or the control
Take a fresh accessibility snapshot after navigation or other page changes, then ask the agent to inspect the current visible structure and text. Do not rely on references from an earlier state.

The fare card is clipped or too small to read
Capture the fare card as an element if you need an isolated image, or use a viewport or full-page screenshot to retain surrounding context. If the saved image remains difficult to read, use device-pixel scaling where supported by the Playwright version in use and review the result.
A full-page element capture fails
Full-page capture and target-element capture are different modes and cannot be combined in Playwright. Choose one: capture the whole scrollable page, or capture a specific locator.

The screenshot shows an overlay or the wrong page state
Inspect the current page before capture, dismiss or handle only the overlay that prevents the intended fare from being visible, then refresh the snapshot and verify the fare and currency again. The screenshot records the rendered state; it does not prove that a booking was completed or that the fare remains available.
