Use an AI agent with browser control to open the pricing page, select India or INR if the site offers that option, verify that the displayed prices carry an INR or ₹ marker, and then capture the relevant view. Do not assume that an Indian IP address, browser language, or region setting changes a vendor’s prices or billing currency: the page itself must show the Indian pricing you intend to document.
Before you start: know what the screenshot can prove
No SaaS company or pricing-page URL is specified here, so there is no guarantee that a particular site supports Indian pricing or exposes a country selector. A screenshot records what the page displayed during that session; by itself, it does not prove that those prices are available to every customer in India or that they will be charged in INR at checkout.
- Have the exact vendor pricing-page URL ready.
- Use the page’s own country, region, or currency control when one is available.
- Confirm the visible currency marker and prices before taking the screenshot.
- If the site has no India or INR option, record that limitation rather than presenting another currency as Indian pricing.
Use the agent to set the page up and verify INR
Give the agent a clear task: open the specified pricing page, find its region or currency controls, select India or INR only if offered, wait for the page to update, and report exactly what currency marker and prices are visible. If the page requires interaction, have the agent use its accessibility snapshot or DOM-oriented references to identify controls. A screenshot is for visual verification; it is not the best way to locate or operate a button.
- Open the pricing page. Ask the browser agent to navigate to the vendor’s exact pricing URL and wait for the page to finish loading.
- Find the locale control. Have it inspect accessible controls and page structure for options such as country, region, or currency. Do not ask it to infer the correct setting from the visitor’s IP address.
- Select the offered Indian option. Choose India or INR if the site provides it, then wait for prices and currency labels to refresh. If no such choice appears, stop and note that the page did not offer an India/INR setting.
- Verify the result on the page. Ask the agent to read the currency label beside the prices and check for INR or ₹. If the page still shows another currency, do not describe the screenshot as INR pricing.
- Choose the capture scope. Capture the viewport for the visible section, a single pricing card or table element for a focused view, or the full page when the complete comparison is needed.
- Inspect the saved image. Confirm the vendor and pricing section are correct, the INR/₹ marker is visible, and a cookie banner, menu, or other overlay does not hide important prices.
Choose the screenshot scope and image scale

Playwright MCP documents PNG, JPEG, and WebP output. It defaults to PNG when the format cannot be inferred. Its default scale is CSS pixels; device-pixel scale captures at the device pixel ratio and may help make small text more legible. Inspect the output at the size at which it will be shared, since a larger image does not fix a page that renders tiny text.

Playwright CLI also documents a high-resolution option. Its documentation warns that device-pixel coordinates differ from CSS-pixel mouse coordinates, so do not reuse coordinates from one scale as though they were measured at the other.
Give the capture a useful filename and preserve context
Use a filename that identifies the vendor, page, locale, and capture date, for example vendor-pricing-inr-2026-10-03.png. Keep a note of the page URL, the locale control selected, and whether the page visibly showed INR or ₹. That context helps distinguish a genuine India-priced page from a screenshot that merely happens to show a rupee symbol or a translated interface.

Common problems and fixes
- No India or INR control is visible: Ask the agent to inspect the page’s accessible controls and menus once. If the site offers no Indian option, state that limitation; do not substitute a browser language or IP assumption.
- The page shows another currency after selection: Wait for the update and re-check the actual price labels. If they remain unchanged, capture only if useful, and label the image with the currency that is actually displayed.
- The agent cannot find or click the selector: Have it use an accessibility snapshot or DOM-oriented references to identify the control before interacting. A screenshot is suited to visual inspection, not to obtaining interaction references.
- A menu, cookie notice, or chat widget covers a price: Close or dismiss it if the site permits, then capture again and inspect the resulting image.
- Full-page and element capture are requested together: Choose one mode. Playwright MCP does not combine full-page capture with a target element; use a full-page image for the whole comparison or an element capture for a focused card.
- Text is hard to read or clicks miss their targets: Try an appropriate scale and verify the screenshot visually. If using device-pixel output, account for the documented difference between device-pixel and CSS-pixel coordinates.

Can an AI agent make a pricing page show INR if the vendor does not support it?
A browser agent can use controls the site provides, but it cannot establish that the vendor offers INR pricing when the page exposes no India or INR option.
