Apple’s current Mac instructions don’t document an Airplane Mode switch for Mac. To disconnect wirelessly, turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth separately in Control Center. If you only need to disconnect from a Wi-Fi network, turn off Wi-Fi alone.
Turn off Wi-Fi on your Mac

Click the Control Center icon in the menu bar.

Open the Wi-Fi control and turn Wi-Fi off. Click the control’s arrow or open its detailed options if you need to see more settings.
This disconnects your Mac from Wi-Fi networks. Apple’s Control Center guide documents separate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth controls, rather than a Mac Airplane Mode control.
Turn off Bluetooth too, if needed
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are separate controls. If you also want to disconnect Bluetooth devices, use either of these routes:

Click Control Center in the menu bar, open the Bluetooth control, and turn Bluetooth off.

Choose Apple menu > System Settings > Bluetooth, then switch Bluetooth off.

Apple’s Bluetooth instructions note that switching it off can affect Continuity, Instant Hotspot, and Handoff.
Desktop Mac input-device limitation
On a desktop Mac, Apple says you can’t turn Bluetooth off if your only mouse, keyboard, or trackpad connects over Bluetooth. Connect or use another input device before switching Bluetooth off.

Why iPhone Airplane Mode steps don’t apply
Apple’s Airplane Mode guidance covers iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro—not Mac. Its instructions and notes about using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth while in Airplane Mode should not be treated as Mac steps. See Apple’s device-specific Airplane Mode guidance.
