On the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, the Allow 3GPP AT Commands switch is in Developer options. Enable Developer options if needed, then find the switch and choose whether to turn it on or off. This route comes from a third-party S25-series tutorial; Samsung has not published a model-by-model reference confirming the setting across Galaxy phones.

What 3GPP AT Commands means
AT commands are a way for software or equipment to communicate with a cellular modem. The 3GPP technical specification TS 27.007 defines a broad set of possible commands for user equipment, including modem functions. It describes standardized commands and possible behavior; it does not mean that every phone exposes every command or interface. The cited copy is Release 11, version 11.8.0, hosted by StudyLib rather than Samsung: 3GPP / ETSI TS 27.007. Soracom’s AT command overview likewise notes that support depends on the modem and its configuration.

It is not a universal Galaxy setting. The documented steps cover the S25 series; available information does not establish which other Galaxy models or firmware versions show the option, or whether carrier builds affect it.

Do not assume it fixes service codes. A Samsung Community discussion about *#9900# contains conflicting user advice about the relationship to this setting, so there is no reliable basis to promise that enabling it will make that code work.
-
Do not treat community reports as compatibility documentation. A Samsung Community discussion about using a Galaxy S24 as a modem describes an SMS workflow after enabling the option, but also includes user-reported limitations. That anecdote does not establish a supported or dependable S24 feature.

Use it for a defined technical task. The setting concerns modem commands, but the cited sources do not quantify a security risk or document a specific harm from toggling it. They also do not establish that it is harmless in every configuration. If you do not have a particular technical reason to enable it, leave it off.

If you cannot find the option
Confirm that Developer options is enabled, then search within that menu for “3GPP” or look for the alternate label “Enable 3GPP AT commands.” If it still does not appear, the setting may not be available on your model or software build. The S25 tutorial does not establish a different route for other Galaxy phones, and Samsung-specific documentation confirming model and firmware availability was not found.
