Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →To test and share an AI-generated browser game, publish a browser-playable build, open its actual URL on a computer and a phone, and check the controls in both places. Then share that playable page URL—not merely the source-code repository. A link makes the game reachable; it does not prove the game works on every device.
What to test before sharing
Use the published URL for testing, rather than relying only on a local preview. That checks the version your recipients will open. MDN describes desktop-first development followed by mobile debugging as a practical workflow, not a guarantee that a game will work everywhere: MDN’s deployment guidance.
- Check the desktop experience. Open the deployed page in a desktop browser. Confirm the game loads, its primary input works, and restart or exit controls behave as intended. If the game has audio or fullscreen controls, try those too.
- Check a real phone when possible. Open the same URL in a mobile browser. Check that the game fits the screen, touch controls respond, and orientation or fullscreen behavior is usable. Look for interactions that depend on hovering or keyboard input if those are not available to your mobile players.
- Try another browser or device if your intended audience is broad. Record only the combinations you actually checked—for example, desktop Chrome and mobile Safari on a named device. Do not imply that a successful check covers other browsers or devices.
These are practical checks, not a formal compatibility guarantee. The sources do not establish a device-and-browser matrix for a particular generated game.
Choose a way to publish the playable page
A browser game needs a URL that opens the playable page. Two options described in the cited documentation are static hosting and a game-publishing platform. The sources establish them as examples, not as a current comparison of prices, account requirements, file limits, or service terms.

| Static web hosting, such as GitHub Pages | Host game files at a URL players can open. MDN names GitHub Pages as a possible hosting option: MDN deployment guidance. | Does your build work as static files? Does the deployment workflow suit you? Check current custom-URL options, limits, and terms. |
| Browser-game publishing, such as itch.io | Upload HTML5 content for browser play. itch.io documents its HTML5 upload and mobile behavior: itch.io HTML5 games and its mobile-friendly game guidance. | Check whether your build format is supported, how the game will be presented and launched, and the current account and publishing terms. |
Make sure the build has a browser entry point
Before publishing, confirm that the exported project contains a web page the host can serve. itch.io’s documentation describes an index.html or another top-level HTML file as the entry point it looks for in its app context. Packaging differs between engines, so do not assume every export uses the same file layout. See itch.io’s HTML5 upload documentation.
Share the URL people can play
Send recipients the direct URL of the published game page. A repository link is useful when someone is expected to inspect or build the project, but it is not a substitute for the playable page. A browser-accessible URL lets players reach the game without first finding it in an app store; MDN includes GitHub Pages as one possible way to host such a page: MDN deployment guidance.

If the game has an in-game Share button
The Web Share API can hand a URL to a share target chosen by the user, but MDN describes it as limited availability and says it requires a secure context. Keep the game URL visible and offer a copy-link fallback so sharing does not depend on API support. Check current browser compatibility before relying on it: MDN: Web Share API.

On itch.io, mark an HTML5 game “Mobile Friendly” only after checking it in a mobile browser. itch.io says mobile visitors to games with that setting get click-to-launch fullscreen behavior; it also shows a warning when a game has not been marked mobile friendly. The label describes an experience you have checked, not a guarantee for every phone: itch.io’s mobile-friendly game guidance.
