You can get notified when XRP reaches a price or meets another supported condition by setting an alert in a crypto app or trading platform. Choose an XRP asset or trading pair, define the trigger, save it, and enable notifications in both the service and your phone, browser, or computer settings. An alert is only a prompt to check the market—it does not buy or sell XRP for you.
Before you set an XRP alert
Confirm that your chosen app offers XRP or the XRP trading pair you want and that the feature is available in your region and app version. The steps and available conditions differ by service. A target-price alert is the simplest choice: set it to notify you when XRP moves above or below a price. Some platforms also offer percentage-change conditions.
- Pick the market: Check that the alert applies to the XRP asset or specific trading pair you intend to follow.
- Choose the trigger: Decide whether you want a notification above or below a target, or another condition supported by the app.
- Allow notifications: Check permissions in the app and on your device or browser. Saving an alert alone does not ensure it will appear.
Set an XRP alert in Coinbase
- Search for and select the cryptocurrency in the Coinbase mobile app, then add it to your watchlist.
- Tap the bell-plus icon, choose to add an alert, and set whether XRP should move above or below your target price.
- Save the alert.
- Open Account & Settings > Notification Settings and enable the channels you want for custom alerts: push, in-app, and/or email.
Coinbase says only assets added to your watchlist send alerts. It describes price alerts as notifications that an asset has reached a certain price; they do not place orders. See Coinbase’s price-alert instructions.
Set an XRP alert in Binance
Binance says its app alert feature is available in Binance Pro. In the app:

- Choose the colors that match your style: express your personality and your crypto management mood, color code your signers, one for each use (trading, staking, HOLDing...).
- Open Markets and search for the XRP trading pair you want to follow.
- Select the Alert icon and choose an alert type.
- Set the target and frequency, then create the alert.
- Allow Binance app notifications in your phone settings.
Binance lists triggers for reaching a price, rising above or dropping to a price, percentage change over or under a threshold, and 24-hour percentage change up or down. Its support page specifies a maximum of 10 alerts per pair and 50 total, with each alert valid for 90 days. Review active alerts and refresh them before they expire. The desktop app uses the Alerts icon and Create Alert; select the market or pair and condition, and enable desktop notifications in system settings. Set an XRP alert in Kraken
Kraken web
In Kraken’s web Advanced view, use the Alerts widget behind the Order form, or add it through Layouts & widgets. Enable browser notifications so alerts can reach you. Kraken’s XRP page also describes creating a new alert, selecting XRP, setting the trigger parameters, and adjusting the target.

Enable push notifications in both your device settings and the Kraken Pro app. Open the price-alert modal from the Markets bell, or long-press an open order or market to access it. If an alert does not arrive
- Check watchlist status: Coinbase requires an asset to be on your watchlist for its alerts to send.
- Check permissions twice: Confirm notifications are enabled in the app and at the device or browser level. Kraken Pro mobile requires both; Binance also directs users to enable app or desktop notifications in system settings.
- Review the trigger: Make sure the selected asset or pair and above/below or other condition match what you intended.
- Check the alert’s status and age: Binance alerts expire after 90 days, so create or refresh an expired alert.
