“Meta Glasses Nova” is not a model name identified in Meta’s or Ray-Ban’s official material cited here. Check the name on your glasses, case, or packaging before using a model-specific setup guide. The steps below are confirmed for Ray-Ban Meta glasses; they may not apply to a different Meta glasses model.
For Ray-Ban Meta glasses, install and open the Meta AI app, enable Bluetooth on your phone, put the glasses in their case, and hold the case’s rear button for five seconds. When the case light blinks blue, add the glasses in the app.
Before you start, identify your glasses
The Ray-Ban setup instructions below are for Ray-Ban Meta glasses. Meta’s June 23, 2026 announcement, updated July 23, names a newer line as Meta Adventurer, Meta Fury, and Meta Glasses by Kylie; it does not identify a model called “Nova.” Check the name on the frame, case, or packaging. If your device is not Ray-Ban Meta, use instructions for the exact model rather than assuming this pairing procedure is compatible.
The Ray-Ban FAQ describes the pairing case as having a button on its back. That detail can help identify whether the instructions match your device, but it does not by itself establish the model.

Pair Ray-Ban Meta glasses with your phone
- Charge and turn on the glasses. The frame’s white LED blinks while the glasses power on and becomes solid green when they are ready.
- Turn on Bluetooth in your phone’s settings.
- If you use an iPhone and the glasses are already listed in Bluetooth settings, forget them. The Ray-Ban FAQ says this is not necessary on Android.
- Put the glasses in their case and hold the button on the back of the case for five seconds. A blinking blue case light indicates pairing mode.
- Open the Meta AI app. Tap the settings gear, choose Add device, and follow the prompts. The glasses may take up to ten seconds to appear in the app.
Ray-Ban’s FAQ describes the blue light this way: “The light blinks blue, indicating that the device is ready to pair.”
If the Meta AI app can’t find your glasses

- Make sure the glasses are charged and switched on. Check that the frame LED becomes solid green.
- Confirm Bluetooth is enabled on the phone.
- If using iOS, forget the glasses in Bluetooth settings if they are already listed. This step is not required on Android, according to Ray-Ban.
- Dock the glasses in the case and hold the rear case button for five seconds. Look for the blinking blue case light, then allow up to ten seconds for the glasses to appear in the app.
- If they still do not appear, switch the glasses off and back on, then quit and reopen the Meta AI app.
- If these glasses were previously set up, unpair them in the Meta AI app and remove them from the phone’s Bluetooth list, then repeat the pairing steps.
- If the problem continues, Ray-Ban’s FAQ directs users to open a warranty claim.
Pairing glasses that were set up before
For Ray-Ban Meta glasses, the FAQ’s re-pairing procedure is:
- Remove the glasses from the case and turn them on by sliding the power switch on the left frame toward the front.
- Put the glasses back in the case and wait for the case light to flash blue. If pairing mode does not start automatically, hold the rear case button for at least five seconds.
- In the Meta AI app, tap the settings gear, choose Add device, and follow the prompts.
When someone else needs to pair the glasses
The Ray-Ban FAQ says Ray-Ban Meta glasses can be paired with only one Meta account at a time. It requires a factory reset before another person pairs them to a different account. A reset is different from routine troubleshooting and may erase captures, so follow the current instructions for your exact model before proceeding.
