On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then scroll down to the device list. Tap a device to view the information Apple provides for it. Depending on the device, that can include its model, serial number, software version, and trusted-device status. Apple may ask you to authenticate before showing details.
View the devices signed in to your Apple Account
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- Scroll down to the list of devices associated with your Apple Account.
- Tap the device whose information you want to check. Authenticate if prompted.
Apple’s device list helps you review devices signed in to your account. The available details vary by device, so a particular device may not show every field. Apple’s instructions are available at Check your Apple Account device list to find where you’re signed in.

What information can you see?
For a selected device, Apple may show its model, serial number, software version, and whether it is a trusted device that can receive Apple Account verification codes. These are examples of information that may appear, not a promise that every device will display all of them. You may need to verify your identity to see device details.
Use Find My to locate a device
The Apple Account device list is for reviewing devices associated with your account; it is not a live location map. If you want to locate a supported device, use Find My. Apple’s Find Devices guide for iCloud.com explains how to view a device’s approximate location.

Understand what happens before removing a device
Removing a device from your Apple Account is more than hiding it from the list: it cuts off that device’s access to iCloud, Find My, and other Apple services, and it can no longer display Apple Account verification codes. If the device remains signed in, it may reappear. To remove it permanently from the account screen, Apple says to sign out of the relevant services on that device or erase it. Read Apple’s device-list guidance before choosing Remove from Account.
