Open the BigBasket product page, choose the exact pack size or weight you want to compare, and take a screenshot that shows the product name, selected size, displayed price, and any offer together. Keep the capture date with the image. Prices and, for weighed fresh produce, final quantities can change, so treat the screenshot as a record of what appeared at that moment—not a guarantee of what you will pay later.
What to include in the screenshot
Before capturing the screen, arrange the product page so the information needed for a fair comparison is visible together:
- Product identity: the name and brand, where shown.
- Selected size: the chosen pack size, weight, or quantity. If the page offers multiple sizes, select the one you intend to compare first.
- Displayed selling price: include the visible price and any discount or offer that affects it.
- Page context: keep enough of the BigBasket page visible to identify the merchant when practical.
- Capture date: add the date to the filename or keep it in a note alongside the image.
BigBasket’s app information describes browsing products, checking prices and sizes, and viewing offers. Its current Google Play listing also describes search and filters, but does not document device screenshot shortcuts: BigBasket on Google Play.

How to take the screenshot
- Open the product in the BigBasket app or website.
- Select the pack size or weight you want to compare.
- Position the page so the product name, selected size, price, and visible offer are in the captured area. If they do not fit together, take separate screenshots and label them so their relationship is clear.
- Use your phone, tablet, or computer’s built-in screenshot feature. The exact button combination varies by operating system, device, and software version; check the device maker’s current instructions for your specific model rather than relying on an unverified shortcut.
- Save the image with a useful name, such as BigBasket-product-size-date, and retain the capture date.
How to compare the saved price fairly
Compare the same product and brand at the same pack size or weight. Note the capture time and delivery location, and account for any offer conditions visible on either retailer’s page. A lower displayed price may not be an equivalent comparison if the pack size differs or an offer applies only under particular conditions.

BigBasket’s FAQ says product-page prices are the prices customers pay and describes store-wide offers separately. Its Terms and Conditions also explain that “some of the commodities and fresh food prices do change on a daily basis.” For fresh fruits and vegetables, BigBasket says items are weighed when the order is packed, so the final amount can vary with actual weight. A screenshot therefore documents the displayed price and selection at capture time, not necessarily the eventual total for a weighed item.

Common issues
- The price or size is missing from the image: select the intended size before capturing, then reposition the page. If the necessary fields cannot fit in one image, take clearly labeled related captures.
- The comparison seems inconsistent: check that both pages show the same product, pack size or weight, delivery location, and offer conditions.
- A later order total differs from the screenshot: prices can change, and fresh produce is weighed at packing. Use the image as a time-stamped record of the display, not a promise of the final charge.
