To remove one saved address or payment method, delete it from Chrome’s Addresses and more or Payment methods settings. To clear saved form entries in bulk, open Delete browsing data and select Autofill form data. These actions do not necessarily remove information stored in Google Account or Google Wallet, and synced changes may affect other devices.

Choose the right way to remove an entry

What you want to remove Where to go What the action affects
One saved address Chrome settings > Passwords and autofill > Addresses and more The selected address entry
One saved payment method Chrome settings > Passwords and autofill > Payment methods The selected method; a method stored in Google Wallet may need to be changed or deleted there
Saved form entries in bulk Delete browsing data > Advanced > Autofill form data Autofill entries for the time range you choose, including addresses and cards stored as browser autofill data
A password or passkey Google Password Manager Saved login credentials, managed separately from Autofill form data

Google’s desktop instructions say clearing Autofill form data does not delete addresses or cards saved in your Google Account. Chrome’s mobile instructions likewise distinguish browser autofill data from information stored in Google Pay or Google Wallet. See Google’s instructions for deleting browsing data on a computer and Chrome’s Android form-filling guidance.

How do I delete an autofill entry in Chrome on a computer?

Remove one saved address or payment method

  1. Open Chrome and select More (the three-dot menu), then Settings.
  2. Open Passwords and autofill.
  3. Select Addresses and more to find a saved address, or Payment methods to find a saved payment method.
  4. Choose the entry and remove it using the control shown for that item.

If the payment method is saved in Google Wallet, Chrome’s computer instructions direct you to edit or delete it in Wallet. Use Google’s computer instructions for filling out forms for the relevant settings.

Clear Autofill form data in bulk

  1. In Chrome, select More > Delete browsing data.
  2. Choose a time range. Select All time to clear the category across the available history, or choose a shorter range to limit the deletion.
  3. Open Advanced and select Autofill form data. Check that you have not selected other categories you intend to keep.
  4. Select Delete data.

This is not the same as deleting browsing history: the setting to select for saved form entries is Autofill form data. Google states that this removes Autofill entries including addresses and credit cards, but not cards and addresses saved in your Google Account.

How do I delete Chrome autofill on Android?

Clear saved form data in bulk

  1. In Chrome, tap More > Settings.
  2. Tap Privacy and security > Delete browsing data.
  3. Choose a time range, then open Advanced and select Autofill form data.
  4. Tap Delete data.

This does not delete payment information or addresses stored in Google Pay or Google Wallet. Review Google’s Android instructions for filling out forms if you need to manage those separately.

Remove one address or payment item

Go to Chrome Settings > Passwords and Autofill, then open Addresses and more or Payment methods and remove the relevant entry. Depending on where a payment method is stored, Chrome may direct you to Google Pay or Wallet.

Why is an address, card, or login still appearing?

  • The item is in your Google Account. Clearing browser Autofill form data does not remove addresses or cards saved there. Manage the account-stored information separately.
  • The payment method is in Google Wallet or Google Pay. Chrome’s deletion flow does not erase Wallet-stored information; open Wallet to manage it.
  • It is a password or passkey. Use Google Password Manager rather than the Autofill form data category. Google lists credentials and passkeys as separately managed items; see Chrome’s computer form-filling help.
  • Another Android autofill provider supplies it. Check the password manager or autofill service selected on the device and remove the entry there.

What happens when Chrome sync is on?

Before confirming a broad deletion, consider whether Chrome is signed in and syncing. Google says deleting synced browsing data while signed in removes it from other devices and the Google Account. Address edits made while signed in can also appear on other Chrome devices using that account. If you only want to change one device, verify the sync scope before deleting; Google’s Chrome sync help explains how synced data is handled.

If the menu labels do not match

Chrome’s exact menu placement can vary by platform and version. Look for the underlying category names: Delete browsing data and Autofill form data for a bulk cleanup, or Addresses and more and Payment methods for individual entries. The Google Help instructions cited here were checked on September 28, 2026, and do not specify one Chrome release number.
