To remove a card from Google Wallet on your phone, open the app, select the card, and tap More > Remove payment method. This removes it from that device. If you want it removed from your Google Account or from a watch instead, use the separate steps below.
Remove a card from Google Wallet on your phone

Open the Google Wallet app.

Find the card. If it is not shown first, swipe left through your cards.

Tap the card, then tap More > Remove payment method.
Google describes this flow for debit cards, credit cards, and other payment methods added to Wallet. Removing a payment method in the app removes it from that device. Google Wallet Help: Remove a payment method and Google Wallet Help: Manage payment methods.

Choose where you want the card removed

| Google Account payment methods | Open wallet.google.com, go to Payment methods, select the method, and click Remove. | Removes the method from the Google Account, but it may still appear in the Wallet app. |
| Chrome payment suggestions | Manage or delete the saved payment information in Google Wallet. To stop Wallet saving it, change the Chrome setting described below. | Controls autofill data, separately from the card shown for tap-to-pay in the phone app. |
Remove a card from your Google Account or a specific device
Go to wallet.google.com, open Payment methods, choose the card, and click Remove to remove it from your Google Account. Google notes that this may not remove the card from the Wallet app.
If the card is listed under a device and you only want to disable it there, open that device’s entry and choose More > Remove from device. Google says this stops tap-to-pay on that device; the card can remain available for online payments and other Google services, including YouTube and Play Store. Remove a card from Google Wallet on a smartwatch

Open the Wallet app on the watch and swipe to the card.

Tap the card, then swipe up on More.

Tap Remove.
Google also says that removing the watch’s screen lock deletes cards added to Wallet on that watch. Google Wallet Help: Make contactless payments with your smartwatch.

If a removed card still appears in Chrome
Chrome payment suggestions can come from payment information saved in Google Wallet; that data is managed separately from the tap-to-pay card display in the phone app. Use wallet.google.com and open Payment methods to manage or delete the saved information.
To stop Chrome from saving payment information through Wallet, open Chrome settings and turn off Payment methods, offers, and addresses using Google Wallet. Google Chrome Help: Manage payment info in Chrome.

If you no longer have the old phone
Some cards or passes must be deleted from the old device before they can be transferred manually. If you no longer have that device, check whether the card provider offers removal through its own app or website. Availability depends on the provider; this is not a universal remote-removal option.
