Razer confirms button remapping, thumbstick deadzone adjustment, trigger-actuation customization, and storage for up to four onboard profiles. Exact V4 Pro app labels and profile-switch shortcuts are not established in the available model-specific information, so follow the steps below only where they match the interface you see.
What you can customize
Razer says the Wolverine V4 Pro works with Xbox and PC and can be customized using Razer Synapse and a companion app. The product page confirms these control options:
- Button assignments: remap supported buttons to other functions.
- Thumbstick deadzones: adjust how much stick movement is required before an input registers. Razer does not state the available ranges here.
- Trigger actuation: customize trigger actuation points; the available settings are not specified here.
- Profiles: save up to four onboard profiles for different games or playstyles.
Razer does not name the companion app in the product information cited here. Confirm the app and its current controls for your device and software version rather than assuming that an app or menu from another Wolverine model applies. Razer Wolverine V4 Pro product page
Remap a button in the V4 Pro app
- Connect the Wolverine V4 Pro to your Xbox or PC and open Razer Synapse or the companion app Razer identifies for your device and software version.
- Select the Wolverine V4 Pro, then open its customization controls.
- Choose the button you want to change and select the function you want it to perform.
- Save or apply the assignment if the current V4 Pro interface provides that option, then check that the selected profile is active.
These are general navigation steps, not verified V4 Pro screen labels. Razer’s product page confirms remapping is supported, but the model-specific screen sequence is not established here. If the app presents different choices, use the V4 Pro-specific guide or support material rather than relying on instructions for an older Wolverine.

Adjust deadzones and trigger actuation
Open the controller’s customization controls in the applicable Razer software and look for the thumbstick deadzone or trigger-actuation settings. Razer confirms that both categories are adjustable, but does not specify the exact labels, ranges, or steps in the product information cited here. Change the setting in the interface and test the controller in the game or application where you intend to use it.
Save and use profiles
The V4 Pro supports up to four onboard profiles, which Razer positions for different games and playstyles. Configure each profile with its intended button assignments and supported stick or trigger settings, then save it using the controls shown by the current V4 Pro interface. The product information does not establish automatic game-based profile switching or a particular hardware shortcut for changing profiles; do not assume either is available.

General Wolverine remapping instructions—not verified for V4 Pro screens
Razer’s support article for Wolverine controllers describes a profile-based remapping workflow. It is useful as general context, but it does not identify the V4 Pro or confirm that its app screens match:
- Select a profile and choose Edit.
- Open Assign Buttons.
- Select a button and choose its new function.
- Select Done. The guide says assignments are saved to the selected profile.
The same general guide describes disabling a button, clearing all multi-function button assignments, and restoring defaults. Treat those options and labels as model-dependent unless they appear in the V4 Pro’s current interface. Razer Wolverine controller support article
