You can play Sifu on an Android phone or iPhone with a controller by streaming it from a gaming PC through Steam Link or from a PS4 or PS5 through PS Remote Play. The official platform information covered here establishes PC and PlayStation versions, not a native Android or iPhone edition, so a phone alone cannot run the game through these methods.
Choose the streaming method that matches where you own Sifu

Both options send the game’s picture and sound to the phone and send your controller input back to the host. Streaming responsiveness depends on the network, so a controller does not make the experience latency-free.
Play the Steam version on a phone with Steam Link
- Install and launch the game on the host PC. The PC needs Steam, access to the Steam account that owns Sifu, and the game installed. The Steam support listing identifies a Windows PC version and its minimum requirements.
- Install Steam Link on the phone. Valve lists Android 5.0 or later and iPhone and iPad devices on its Remote Play page.
- Connect the phone and PC through Steam Link. Sign in or pair the devices as prompted in the app, then connect to the PC that is running Steam. Pair a controller supported by the phone and app.
- Improve the connection where possible. Valve recommends a 5 GHz wireless router for the Android Steam Link app. A stable connection between the phone and the host matters because gameplay is streamed rather than processed on the phone.
Controller support for Android Steam Link
Valve’s Android Steam Link support page names the Xbox One S Controller, DualShock 4 on Android 9.0 or later, Razer Kishi, and Raiju Mobile as supported inputs. Valve cautions that other input devices may work without being officially supported. The named Android compatibility should not be assumed to apply to every iPhone controller: verify the current Steam Link and iOS support information for the specific controller before buying or troubleshooting it.
Play the PlayStation version with PS Remote Play
- Prepare the console. You need a PS4 or PS5 with Sifu available and a broadband connection. PlayStation marks Remote Play as supported for the game.
- Install PS Remote Play on the phone. Open the app and sign in with the account associated with the console. PlayStation states that a PS4 or PS5 is required to stream games to other devices.
- Connect a supported controller, if you want physical controls. You can also use on-screen controls where supported. The compatible controller and minimum phone OS depend on whether you use Android or iPhone/iPad.
- Check the connection. PlayStation requires at least 5 Mbps and recommends at least 15 Mbps for a better Remote Play experience. Actual performance varies with the network environment and, when using mobile data, the carrier.

These are the OS thresholds documented by PlayStation’s support page; check its current compatibility guidance and your controller’s phone pairing instructions if an update changes what your device supports.

Do not confuse Remote Play with PlayStation cloud streaming
Ordinary PS Remote Play streams from your own PS4 or PS5. Separately, PlayStation’s game page identifies Sifu cloud streaming on PS5 and PS Portal as a Premium-subscription feature. That cloud option is not the same as using PS Remote Play from a console; confirm current subscription and regional availability before relying on cloud streaming.

What to check if the controller or stream does not work
- The game does not appear: confirm that it is installed and available on the PC or PlayStation host, and that the host is online and running or ready for remote play.
- The phone will not connect: verify both devices have network access, complete the pairing or sign-in steps in the relevant app, and check that the host console or PC is available.
- The controller is not recognized: check the controller’s compatibility with the phone’s OS and the specific app. For PS Remote Play, use the OS thresholds above; for Android Steam Link, consult Valve’s named supported-device list.
- Controls feel delayed or the picture stutters: streaming performance can vary with network quality. For Android Steam Link, Valve recommends a 5 GHz wireless router; for PS Remote Play, PlayStation recommends at least 15 Mbps for a better experience.
