To pair JBL Endurance Peak 4 earbuds, turn them on, enable Bluetooth on your phone or other device, then select JBL Endurance Peak 4 from its Bluetooth device list. If you need to start over, factory-reset the earbuds by triple-tapping either earbud and holding on the third tap for more than five seconds; then pair them again.
Pair JBL Endurance Peak 4 with a phone, tablet, or computer
- Turn on the earbuds and open the Bluetooth settings on the device you want to connect.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled and the device is showing available or discoverable devices.
- Select JBL Endurance Peak 4 from the list. JBL’s quick start guide gives the same selection instruction.
On supported Android devices, Google Fast Pair may offer an on-screen prompt. Compatible Windows devices may also use Microsoft Swift Pair; JBL’s guide identifies Windows 10 version 1803 or later for that flow. These prompts depend on device compatibility and settings, so use the Bluetooth device list if no prompt appears.
What to do if the earbuds will not connect
First, check the Bluetooth list on the device and select the saved JBL Endurance Peak 4 entry if it is available. If the connection still does not recover, a factory reset clears the earbuds’ settings and Bluetooth data, after which you can pair them again.
The Endurance Peak 4 supports multipoint connection to up to two Bluetooth devices, according to JBL’s product information. If you are trying to connect a different host device, select the earbuds in that device’s Bluetooth settings; the reset procedure is for clearing saved earbud data, not a required step for ordinary pairing.

Factory-reset JBL Endurance Peak 4 earbuds
- With the earbuds on, triple-tap either earbud.
- On the third tap, keep pressing and holding for more than five seconds.
- JBL says the earbuds power off and reset. The reset erases settings and Bluetooth data.
- If the earbuds remain saved in the phone, tablet, or computer’s Bluetooth list, use that device’s Bluetooth settings to forget or remove them.
- Turn the earbuds on and follow the pairing steps above to connect again.
JBL Support’s Endurance Series factory-reset instructions warn: “This action will erase all settings and Bluetooth data from the device.” The support page says you may need to remove or forget the earbuds from the paired-device list and pair and connect again after resetting.
Make sure you are using the Endurance Peak 4 reset method
The triple-tap-and-hold procedure applies to the Endurance Peak 4. JBL’s model-specific guidance gives a different procedure for the original Endurance Peak and Endurance Peak 2, so do not substitute instructions for those models.

When a firmware update may be relevant
JBL’s release notes list several Endurance Peak 4 firmware updates. The notes are dated and describe specific changes; they do not promise that an update will resolve an individual pairing problem.
