The case’s Connect button is the fallback when a device does not find the earbuds. Some Buds features require a compatible Galaxy or Android device and are not available through iPhone or PC Bluetooth connections.
Pair Galaxy Buds4 Pro with a Samsung phone
The setup path depends on your phone’s One UI version. Samsung’s regional support guidance says One UI 8 or later can manage Buds settings in the phone’s Settings app; One UI 7 or earlier uses the Galaxy Wearable app for setup and pairing. Screen labels may vary by device and region. Samsung’s Colombia instructions provide the steps below.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
- Put both earbuds in the charging case, close it briefly, then open it near the phone.
- When the connection pop-up appears, follow the on-screen instructions. If your phone runs One UI 7 or earlier, use Galaxy Wearable to complete setup.
- If no pop-up appears, leave the earbuds in the open case and hold the Connect button on the back of the case for more than three seconds. Then open Bluetooth device scanning on the phone and select the Buds if they are listed.
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 setup guidance says to keep the earbuds in the open case until connection completes. In that model-specific guidance, pairing mode can end if setup is not completed within three minutes; close and reopen the case to restart it. Timing and screens may differ with other phones, software versions, or regions.
Pair Galaxy Buds4 Pro with an iPhone
An iPhone connects to the Buds through Bluetooth. Samsung says Galaxy Wearable features are not available through this iPhone connection path. Samsung’s Bluetooth guidance and its US product page describe iOS Bluetooth compatibility.

Pair Galaxy Buds4 Pro with a Windows PC
Use Windows Bluetooth settings after putting the earbuds into pairing mode. Samsung’s Windows instructions are written for laptops; illustrations and steps can differ by model, software version, and region. Samsung’s Germany Windows guide gives this flow.
- Put both earbuds in the case and open it.
- Hold the Connect button on the back of the case for more than three seconds. Samsung describes the indicator flashing blue, red, and green repeatedly as the pairing-mode signal.
- On the PC, open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Add device > Bluetooth. Menu wording can vary by Windows version.
- Select Galaxy Buds from the device list and choose Connect.
What works over Bluetooth—and what may be limited
Samsung lists Bluetooth connection support for iOS devices and PCs, including ANC and Ambient Mode. Its US product page specifies 16-bit/44.1 kHz audio and standard call quality for these Bluetooth-connected platforms. Those specifications do not mean that every Galaxy Buds feature is available outside a compatible Galaxy or Android setup.

Samsung identifies features that may be unavailable on Android devices outside its Galaxy feature set, including HD Voice (Super Clear Call), 24-bit/96-kHz audio, 360 Audio, 360 Audio Recording, voice wake-up features, Interpreter/Live Translate, Head Gestures, and Gaming Mode. Do not expect those features to work with an iPhone or PC through the Bluetooth pairing steps above; availability also depends on device compatibility and software version.

If the Buds do not appear in the device list
- Enter pairing mode manually: Keep the earbuds in the open case and hold the rear Connect button for more than three seconds, then scan again in the target device’s Bluetooth settings.
- Check the previous connection: If the Buds remain connected to a device they were paired with earlier, disconnect them there or put them back into pairing mode before scanning from the new device.
- Restart pairing on a Galaxy S26: Samsung says its S26 instructions use a three-minute pairing window. If it expires, close and reopen the case and try again. This timing is specific to that guidance and may not apply to every model.
- For a Windows PC: Confirm Bluetooth is enabled, then repeat the Add device flow after the Buds enter pairing mode.
