To pair Beats Studio Pro, turn on the headphones, then press and hold the system button on the right ear cup until the lights flash. Open Bluetooth settings on your phone or computer, select Beats Studio Pro, and confirm the connection. If a setup animation appears on an iPhone or Android phone, you can follow its prompts instead.
Before you start
- Charge and turn on the headphones and the device you want to pair.
- Keep the headphones near your phone or computer.
- To make the headphones discoverable, press and hold the system button on the right ear cup until the lights flash. The flashing lights indicate they are ready to pair.
Apple’s Beats pairing guide covers iPhone, Android, Mac, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices, including Windows PCs. The menu names on your device may vary by operating system version.
Pair with an iPhone
- Open Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.
- Turn on the Beats Studio Pro and hold them near the iPhone. If a Beats setup animation appears, follow its prompts.
- If there is no animation, hold the system button on the right ear cup until the lights flash.
- In Settings > Bluetooth, tap Beats Studio Pro in the device list if it is not already connected.
Apple recommends keeping the iPhone or iPad up to date. For Find My features, connect the iPhone to Wi-Fi or mobile data during setup. After pairing, the headphones can connect automatically the next time you put them on; Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account can pair automatically.
Pair with an Android phone
- Turn on Bluetooth in Settings > Connections.
- Turn on the headphones and hold them near the phone. If a Fast Pair prompt appears, follow its instructions.
- If no prompt appears, press and hold the right-ear-cup system button until the lights flash.
- Open Settings > Connections > Bluetooth, select Beats Studio Pro, and tap Pair.
You can also use the Beats app on Android and its Connect Your Beats flow. Apple says to connect the Android phone to Wi-Fi or mobile data during pairing if you want Android Find Hub features. Beats can pair automatically with other devices signed in to the same Google Account.

Pair with a Mac
- Choose Apple menu > System Settings > Bluetooth, then turn Bluetooth on.
- Turn on the headphones and hold them near the Mac.
- Press and hold the system button on the right ear cup until the lights flash.
- Select Beats Studio Pro in the Bluetooth device list and click Connect.
Apple recommends keeping macOS current. Once connected, the headphones can connect automatically the next time you put them on.
Pair with a Windows PC
- Turn on the Beats Studio Pro and hold them near the PC.
- Press and hold the system button on the right ear cup until the lights flash.
- Open the PC’s Bluetooth pairing controls, select Beats Studio Pro when it appears, and follow the Windows prompts.
Windows menu labels vary by version. Apple identifies a Windows-based PC as a Bluetooth-enabled device but does not specify a single Windows menu path, so use the Bluetooth controls shown on your PC.

Fix pairing and audio problems
Beats Studio Pro does not appear in Bluetooth settings
- Check that the headphones are on, then hold the system button until the lights flash before searching again.
- Keep the headphones and paired device within 30 feet of each other, as Apple recommends in its Bluetooth troubleshooting guidance. Move them away from other Bluetooth devices, microwaves, wireless routers, and other electronics.
- Make sure both devices are charged and turned on. If the headphones were paired previously, disconnect and forget them on the device, then repeat the pairing steps. Apple’s troubleshooting article gives instructions to use Forget This Device on iOS and Forget Device on Mac.
It says connected, but there is no sound
The connection may be active while another device is selected for audio. On a Mac, choose Beats Studio Pro in System Settings > Sound for output and, if needed, input. On a PC, select the headphones in sound settings as the playback and/or recording device. On iPhone, open Settings > Bluetooth and select the Beats.
Raise the volume on both devices and test a downloaded track. Apple recommends this to help distinguish a Bluetooth issue from a streaming problem.

Re-pairing does not fix the problem
Reset the headphones using Apple’s model-specific Beats reset instructions, then put them in discovery mode and pair again.
