You can keep up with selected crypto price levels without repeatedly checking charts: create a short watchlist, set alerts only for conditions that would prompt you to review something, and send notifications to a channel you actually notice. A price alert reports that its trigger condition was met; it is not a forecast, a guarantee of delivery time, or an instruction to buy or sell.
Build a small, useful alert list
Start with assets you hold or are deliberately monitoring—not every coin that catches your eye. For each one, decide what you would do when notified. The action might be to open the chart, review current news, or reassess a plan. If a trigger would not change what you review, it probably does not need an alert.
Choose a price level or other condition that is meaningful to your own review process. Avoid copying a universal percentage threshold: the right trigger depends on the asset and on what you intend to check. Give each alert a name that makes its purpose clear later, such as the asset, threshold, and reason. TradingView lets users configure alert names and messages; its alert options can include price thresholds and technical conditions. TradingView’s alert overview explains supported alert types, while its configuration guide covers names and settings.
Choose where alerts come from
A charting service can offer more flexible conditions, while an exchange or brokerage app may be convenient if you already use it. Check that the service supports the asset or trading pair you want, the type of condition you need, and the notification channel you prefer. Features and availability differ by service; do not assume that asset coverage, trigger behavior, or delivery is identical.

Set trigger frequency and expiration
Decide whether you want one notification or repeated notifications if the condition continues to be met. TradingView documents frequency choices and an expiration timer, though options depend on alert type and plan. An alert that repeats can become noisy; one that expires can stop working before you expect if you do not check its end date. Choose deliberately, then confirm the alert remains active for the period you need.
Route notifications to a channel you check
Select a supported channel—such as app push, email, or desktop notification—based on where you are likely to notice it. For TradingView phone push notifications, the company says to be logged into its app, allow notifications in the device’s operating-system settings, and enable app notification for the alert. Follow its phone-notification setup guide. If the service provides a harmless test option, use it; otherwise, verify each setting and confirm delivery when the next expected alert occurs. Do not assume a notification is instant or guaranteed: app state, device permissions, alert settings, account plan, and provider availability can affect what you receive.

- BUILT FOR YOUR MARKET, FUTURES, STOCKS, FOREX, OPTIONS & CRYPTO: 4X is a mindset and process journal, not a strategy tool tied to one instrument. The plan, the trade log, the deep dive and the weekly review work the same whether you trade ES, EURUSD, SPY or BTC. Traders use it across all five markets every day.
- THE 2026 EDITION, REBUILT FROM TRADER FEEDBACK: Same trusted system, better in every way. An extra daily page for more room to log the session. Weekly reviews now grouped with each week's trades, so no more flipping back and forth. Crisp, darker print that's easy on the eyes after hours on a screen. A Quick-Start QR that scans straight to step-by-step instructions.
- NOT A NOTEBOOK, A COMPLETE 12-WEEK SYSTEM: Start with a one-time 9-part Trading Plan (your market, setups, risk rules and discipline checklist). Then twelve identical weeks: five Daily Logs, five Deep Dive trade pages, and a two-page Weekly Review. 189 guided pages, roughly 80 trades. Guided prompts walk you through every step. You never stare at a blank page.
- RATE YOUR EXECUTION, NOT YOUR RESULT: Your platform tracks the P&L. Nothing tracks the why. Log energy, sleep and mindset before the open; grade every trade A to F on whether you followed your plan, not on whether it won; then face the pattern every weekend with START / STOP / IMPROVE / CONTINUE. That review habit is the edge. You're 42% more likely to hit a goal you've written down.
- BUILT TO LAST, ARRIVES GIFT-READY: Vegan-leather hardcover, 100gsm bleed-resistant paper, two ribbon markers and an elastic closure band. Bound to lay flat so you're not fighting the spine while you write. 189 pages, 5.75" x 8.5", carries in a bag. Ships in a premium gift box: the gift every trader in your life actually wants.
Maintain the list so it stays useful
Review alerts on a schedule that suits you. Remove alerts for assets you no longer monitor, duplicates, and triggers whose purpose is no longer clear. Edit a threshold when your review plan changes, and check expiration dates so an alert does not quietly lapse. Providers document controls such as editing, expiry, muting, or deletion, but the exact controls differ. TradingView’s configuration guide, Crypto.com’s Exchange alert help, and Robinhood’s crypto alert guidance describe service-specific options.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Use an alert as a prompt, not a trading instruction
An alert tells you that a configured condition has been met. It does not establish why a price moved, predict what happens next, or guarantee a trading result. Treat the notification as a cue to review current information and your own plan. Although some alert systems document webhooks or other integrations, the available product guidance does not establish delivery latency guarantees or that automated execution is appropriate.
