In Google’s Phone app, call the first person, tap Add call, call the second person, then tap Call merge after they answer. The exact controls and whether conference calling is available can vary by phone and carrier.
Make a three-way call in Google’s Phone app

Call the first person and wait for the call to connect.

While that call is active, tap Add call. Dial the second person or choose them from your contacts.

When the second call connects, tap Call merge to combine the calls into a conference call.

These steps are for Google’s Phone app; another Android phone app may use different labels or controls. Google’s Phone app help describes merging current calls and notes that calling features can depend on the device and carrier.
What you can do while the calls are active
Google’s in-call controls include options such as muting, putting a call on hold, and switching between calls. If a Bluetooth headset is connected, you can select it as the audio device. A headset is optional and does not enable call merging.

Why the merge button may be missing
If you do not see Call merge, first check whether your carrier supports conference calling on your line. Also confirm which calling app you are using: the instructions above apply to Google’s Phone app, while another dialer may present different controls. Consult your carrier and the help for your specific phone app if the option remains unavailable.

Other calling options
Some carriers and devices support video calls, video conference calls, or RTT calls. These are conditional options, not features guaranteed on every Android phone or network. Check with your carrier and calling app to see which formats are available to you.
