To improve performance in Titanic Escape Simulator on PC, update the game, check which graphics and frame-generation options your current build offers, then adjust one setting at a time and compare the same scene. The official patch notes document AMD FSR upscaling, AMD FSR 2X frame generation, and related fixes, but neither the notes nor Steam’s system requirements provide benchmark results or a universally best preset.
Start with the game’s current settings and build
Install available game updates before troubleshooting. The development team’s Steam announcement for Patch 1.0.5, dated 8 September (the year is not displayed in the announcement excerpt), says the update focused on graphics, performance, movement, Free Roam, stability, and player-reported fixes. Official patch notes also document AMD FSR upscaling and AMD FSR 2X frame generation, as well as fixes affecting frame-generation settings and stability. The options available to you can depend on the current build and your hardware, so check the in-game graphics menu rather than assuming every system exposes the same controls. How to test settings for better FPS
There is no official, tested setting combination or FPS improvement figure to rely on. Use a repeatable comparison instead: record your current resolution, graphics settings, and observed frame rate in a location you can revisit, then change only one option and compare performance in the same scene. This helps you judge the trade-off between frame rate and image quality at your resolution without attributing a change to several settings at once.
- Update the game and note your current resolution and graphics options.
- Choose a repeatable scene and observe the frame rate there.
- Change one graphics or available FSR/frame-generation option.
- Return to the same scene and compare frame rate and image quality.
- Keep the change only if the result suits your system and visual preference.
Do not assume a named option will deliver a particular percentage gain. The official sources establish that FSR and frame generation are documented features, not how much faster they will run on a particular PC.

Check whether your PC meets the Steam requirements

Compare your actual components with the relevant tier before considering changes. A PC below the minimum may struggle, but meeting the recommended tier still does not establish a particular FPS for your settings or scene.

Should you upgrade your graphics card?
The GTX 1660 and RX 5600 XT are comparison points because Steam lists them as recommended graphics options; that does not mean either card is necessary for every player or is a current buying recommendation. Before spending money, check whether the GPU is actually limiting performance, along with its utilization and temperatures, your resolution, and whether lowering graphics settings improves the result. If considering an upgrade, also check compatibility with the rest of the computer. The official material reviewed does not quantify the FPS improvement a GPU purchase would deliver.
