Install FC 27 title updates through the platform or launcher where you own the game: use Options > Check for Update on PS5, check the game’s update area on Xbox, or open the EA app, Steam, or Epic Games Store for a PC copy. There are four useful differences to keep in mind when choosing where to check: which store or platform owns your copy, whether you are checking manually or relying on automatic updates, whether a console needs to stay connected in Rest Mode or a PC launcher must be allowed to download in the background, and which platform’s support guidance applies if the download fails. The same update does not mean identical menus across PS5, Xbox, Steam, Epic, and the EA app.
How do I update FC 27 on PS5?
On PS5, you can check for a game update manually or enable automatic updates. If an update is available, the console presents installation prompts.
Check for an update manually
- From the games home screen, highlight FC 27.
- Press the controller’s Options button.
- Select Check for Update.

Actual download and install time can therefore not be stated from the official figures available here; it depends on the update your platform offers and conditions such as download speed and console or PC activity. Do not use an unofficial file-size or timing estimate as proof that an update is missing.
