The most reliable ways to add Legendary Champions in RAID: Shadow Legends are to earn and use Shards strategically, complete Champion Fragment summons or Fusions, and pursue fixed progression rewards. Random Shard summons are not guarantees: x2 events improve the chance of a higher rarity, x10 events favor a named Champion only after the relevant rarity is summoned, and a Guaranteed Champion event names its own Shard requirement. Check the live Summoning Portal and reward screens before committing resources.
Choose a route based on certainty and resources
These paths differ in whether they give a random chance, target a particular Champion, or award a fixed Champion after completing stated requirements.

Get the most from Shards
Know what each Shard can summon
RAID lists Mystery, Ancient, Void, and Sacred Shards. Mystery Shards cannot summon Epic or Legendary Champions in the published rarity table. Void Shards summon only Void-affinity Champions. RAID’s official Champions page lists base Legendary chances of 0.5% for Ancient Shards, 0.5% for Void Shards, and 6% for Sacred Shards; the page does not state its publication year, so treat these as published figures rather than a guarantee of today’s rates. Shards can come from game modes, quests, progress rewards, shops, and limited-time events; sources and amounts depend on the activity. If you are saving Shards, first check which Shard types an event accepts and which Champions are in its pool.

Distinguish x2, x10, Guaranteed, and Extra Legendary events
- x2: Doubles rarity chances for the applicable Shards. Plarium’s event guide gives examples of Legendary odds rising to 1% for Ancient and Void Shards and 12% for Sacred Shards during x2 events. Those are guide figures, not a promise that an event is active or that live odds have not changed. Plarium Support: Summoning Events
- x10: Does not increase the chance of summoning the relevant rarity. If you summon an Epic or Legendary of the relevant rarity, it increases the chance that the Champion is the featured one. It is a targeted pool boost, not a tenfold boost to any Legendary’s odds. Plarium Support: Summoning Events
- Guaranteed Champion: Awards the named Champion after the event’s stated number and type of Shards are opened while the event is active. An early pull of that Champion can end the event, so read its terms before opening Shards. Plarium Support: Summoning Events
- Extra Legendary: Under the event’s rules, a qualifying Legendary summon grants an additional random, non-duplicate Champion. It does not let you choose the extra Champion. Plarium Support: Summoning Events
Event details change. Check the live Portal and event description for the current odds, eligible Shards, featured pool, threshold, and end time before summoning.
Understand Mercy counters without treating them as a schedule
Mercy increases the chance of receiving a relevant rarity after a stated number of unsuccessful summons. The counters are separate by Shard type; for Ancient and Void Shards, Epic and Legendary counters are also separate, so summoning a Legendary does not reset the Epic counter. Plarium says the increases are additive, and the counters are not displayed in-game. Because you cannot see the counter and rules can change, do not assume a precise pull count without reliable account-specific tracking and confirmation of the applicable rules. Target a Champion with fragments or Fusion
Collect Champion Fragments
Fragments are tied to a specific Champion. Plarium’s fragment guide states that 100 fragments are required to summon a Champion; confirm the target’s own Fragment Summon screen in case its current requirements or sources differ. Events and tournaments can award fragments, and some are offered in the Shop. Use the screen’s Info button to see the available sources for a particular target. Complete a Fusion recipe
Fusion is a recipe-based route in the Portal: gather and prepare the Champions listed for the target, then fuse them. Relickeeper and Broadmaw are examples of permanent Fusions; limited-time Fusions have a countdown and deadline. Open the Fusion tab for the live recipe, required Champions, deadline, and eligibility rather than relying on an old event guide. Plarium Support: Fusion Guide

Doom Tower Secret Rooms
Doom Tower Secret Rooms award fragments for a set of exclusive Champions across Normal and Hard tracks. Rotations, restrictions, reward order, and the fragments you can reach depend on the current tower cycle, so inspect the active Secret Room rewards in-game before planning around a particular Champion. Faction Wars
Plarium’s support guide says full three-star completion of every Normal stage across all factions awards Lydia the Deathsiren. Completing every Hard stage for three stars awards Polara Fireheart; the guide says Hard unlocks after Lydia is earned. These are long-term roster and progression goals, not quick early-game summons. Revival Path for eligible returning players
The Revival Path guide describes daily, weekly, and revival quests that earn points. All players start with the Basic path, while the Elite reward track requires the Elite Revival Pass and can end with a guaranteed Legendary. The public guide does not establish that the feature is available to every account; check the in-game path and its terms before counting on the reward. Plarium Support: Revival Path Guide
Check current terms before spending or committing
- In the Summoning Portal, open the information panel to see current probabilities and available Champions.
- Open the event description and confirm eligible Shard type, threshold, featured pool, and end time.
- For a target Champion, check its Fragment Info screen or the live Fusion recipe and deadline.
- For Doom Tower or Revival Path rewards, verify the active rotation or account eligibility in-game.
Event examples are not permanent offers: Plarium’s June 3, 2026 announcement for Web of Corruption described several routes, but that event ended August 18, 2026. Its rewards should not be treated as currently available. Plarium: Web of Corruption announcement
