The easiest way to get an Armenian IP address from outside Armenia is to connect to a VPN app that offers an Armenia location. Choose Armenia in the app, connect, then check the resulting public IP and test the particular website or app you need. A country label alone does not guarantee that a server is physically in Armenia—or that a bank, streaming service, or account provider will accept the connection.

Choose the method that matches what you need

Method What it does Setup Best suited to
VPN app with an Armenia location Routes your device’s internet traffic through a provider endpoint and presents an Armenian IP address. Install the app, choose Armenia, and connect. Quick, general-purpose use.
Armenia-hosted VPS with a self-managed VPN Provides a server you can configure as your own VPN endpoint. Rent the server, install and secure VPN software, and maintain it. Technically experienced users who want more control.
Carrier static public IP Can make an eligible mobile-data device reachable from outside. Activate it through the carrier and configure the device. Reaching your own device remotely—not routing unrelated browsing through Armenia.
IP address allocation Provides or registers address resources for networks. Requires registration and network administration. Organizations and network operators, not ordinary VPN users.

Use a VPN app for the simplest route

Check that Armenia is in the provider’s current location list before subscribing. Install its official app, select Armenia, and connect. A VPN routes traffic through its endpoint; the websites you visit will generally see the endpoint’s public IP rather than your usual one.

Provider listings are not independent tests of speed, security, privacy, or compatibility. For example, REG.AM says its VPN servers are located in Armenia. Its English-language page lists Standard at 2,400 AMD per month and Premium at 4,800 AMD per month; Premium lists up to three devices. The page also lists OpenVPN, L2TP/IPsec, and PPTP. These are provider-published details, which may change; verify current prices and terms with REG.AM.

Other providers advertise an Armenian endpoint, but read how they describe its location. Proton VPN’s Armenia page advertises Armenian servers and apps for major platforms; its privacy, no-logs, and speed statements are the provider’s own claims. ExpressVPN describes selecting an Armenia location in its app; check the app’s current location list before subscribing.

Check whether the server is physically in Armenia

An Armenian IP address and a VPN server physically located in Armenia are not necessarily the same thing. A provider may operate a virtual location: its IP is presented as Armenian, while the server carrying the traffic is in another country.

Private Internet Access says its virtual Armenian servers are physically located in the Netherlands and provide a shared Armenian IP. It also says it does not currently offer a dedicated IP in Armenia. By contrast, REG.AM says its servers are located in Armenia. If physical location matters to your use case, check the provider’s explicit location details rather than relying only on a country name in an app.

Consider a VPS only if you can manage a server

An Armenia-hosted VPS can serve as a VPN endpoint, but renting one does not automatically route your phone or computer through Armenia. You must configure VPN software, secure the server, keep it updated, and troubleshoot it. Confirm the host’s current server and IP-location details before ordering, then test for DNS or traffic leaks after setup.

WEB LLC says its VPS servers and IP addresses are in Armenia. Its page lists plans starting at 9,600 AMD per month with one dedicated IP, and an additional dedicated IP at 1,200 AMD per month. These are provider-listed prices and can change. Treat the service as server infrastructure to configure, not a ready-made VPN app.

Know what a carrier static IP does—and does not do

A carrier’s static public IP may let you reach a device using that carrier’s mobile data service. It is not the same as connecting your remote computer to a VPN endpoint in Armenia, and it does not automatically send that computer’s general internet traffic through Armenia.

Viva describes Real IP as a static public IP for a device using its mobile data card. The listing says activation is free and the monthly fee is AMD 500 including VAT; it also describes eligibility for postpaid plans and activation at a service center. Contact Viva to confirm current eligibility, device compatibility, and whether this inbound-access service fits your need.

IP allocation is for network administration

Organizations that need address resources for routing and network operations may use an IP allocation service, but it is not a consumer VPN subscription. WEB LLC says it is authorized by RIPE NCC as a local internet registry to assign IPv4 and IPv6 address space. Its page lists 120 AMD per IP per month and a RIPE registration charge of 120,000 AMD per request. Confirm current terms directly with the provider.

  • Improved Battery Life: Target Wake Time helps your devices to communicate efficiently while consuming less power.
  • Improved Cooling Design: No heat ups, no throttles. A larger heat sink and redefined case design cools the WiFi 6 system and enables your network to stay at top speeds in more versatile environments.

Verify the connection and test the service you need

  1. Check the current location list. Confirm that Armenia is available before you subscribe; provider locations and availability can change.
  2. Connect through the provider’s official app. Select Armenia and wait until the app reports a successful connection.
  3. Check your public IP. Use a reputable IP lookup and see whether it reports Armenia. Geolocation databases can differ, so one lookup is not a guarantee that every site will classify the address the same way.
  4. Try the exact website or app. A matching IP location may still trigger extra verification or be blocked. Follow the destination service’s rules; a VPN does not satisfy identity, residency, or account requirements.
  5. For a self-managed VPS, test for leaks. Verify DNS and traffic routing after configuration, and maintain the server’s security updates.

Compare before paying

  • Setup and maintenance: A consumer VPN app is usually less technical; a VPS requires configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Physical versus virtual location: Ask where the server is located, not just which country the IP is assigned to.
  • Shared versus dedicated address: Shared VPN IPs are used by multiple customers. An address’s reputation can affect whether a service challenges or blocks a login; dedicated options are not available in every country.
  • Devices and protocols: Check the provider’s current app support, simultaneous-device limits, and protocols. A protocol list is not an independent security evaluation.
  • Actual destination and cost: Test the service you care about, and compare recurring charges, any dedicated-IP add-on, and the work needed to operate a VPS. Provider prices and terms can change.
