If an Overwatch reward or Mythic Prisms are missing, first identify where the item was supposed to come from: the current Premium Battle Pass, an Unvaulted Pass, a Twitch Drop, or a direct purchase. Each has different eligibility and claiming rules. Check the matching path below before treating the issue as a technical problem.
First, identify the reward source
Look up the exact item in the game and note which pass, event, or purchase was supposed to grant it. Then compare its source with the checks below.

| Current Premium Battle Pass | Premium ownership and whether you reached the reward tier | Mythic Prisms are earned through Premium Battle Pass progression; the Free Battle Pass does not award them. Current tier amounts and schedules should be checked in game. Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer |
| Unvaulted Pass | Whether you own it and activated it in the Legacy Pass Menu | Current patch notes say Mythic Prisms are not obtainable in Unvaulted Passes. Current Overwatch patch notes |
| Twitch Drop | Whether you claimed it on Twitch and linked the correct Twitch and Battle.net accounts | Drop claim and account-linking rules apply; this is separate from pass progression. Blizzard’s Twitch Drops guide |
| Direct purchase | Which storefront and account processed the transaction | Check the transaction record and the game account associated with the purchase. |
Fix a missing current Battle Pass reward or Mythic Prisms
- Confirm the account and platform. Sign in to the Battle.net account and game platform used to obtain the pass. If you have multiple accounts, check each against the purchase or progression history.
- Confirm you own Premium. Mythic Prisms are not granted by the Free Battle Pass. Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer describes Prisms as available through Premium Battle Pass progression or direct in-game purchase. Read Blizzard’s Mythic Shop explainer.
- Check the reward tier. A reward will not be available until you reach its required tier. Open the current Battle Pass in game and check the item’s displayed tier and reward details. Do not rely on old tier numbers: Blizzard’s published figure of 80 Mythic Prisms was for completing the Premium Battle Pass in 2024, not a verified amount for the current season.
- If you bought Prisms directly, verify the transaction. Check the platform storefront, account, receipt, and transaction identifier. A direct purchase is a different entitlement from a reward earned by pass progression.
Check Unvaulted Pass rules
Unvaulted Passes follow different eligibility and activation rules from the current Premium track. Blizzard’s current patch notes say Mythic Prisms are not obtainable in Unvaulted Passes. They also say you must own an Unvaulted Pass and activate it from the Legacy Pass Menu to earn XP toward it. Check the active pass and current in-game menu: specific reward details can vary by season. See the current Overwatch patch notes.
Blizzard’s Season 5 announcement also listed Overwatch Coins, XP Boosts, Mythic Prisms, Prestige Titles, and Mythic hero and weapon skins as rewards not included in Unvaulted Passes. That announcement is historical context; use current patch notes and the game’s Legacy Pass Menu for present-season rules. Read Blizzard’s Overwatch news and announcements.

Claim a missing Twitch Drop
- Claim the reward on Twitch. Use the eligible channel or your Twitch Drops Inventory. Watching alone is not the same as claiming the reward.
- Check the account connection. Make sure the Twitch account that earned and claimed the Drop is linked to the correct Battle.net account.
- Use a supported device to claim. Blizzard says Drops can be claimed in a PC or Mac browser, or in the Twitch Android or iOS app—not in console, smart TV, or other TV apps.
Blizzard says a claimed Drop expires after seven days if no Battle.net account is linked. These steps apply to Twitch Drops, not Battle Pass rewards or direct purchases. See Blizzard’s Twitch Drops guide.

After checking eligibility and claiming requirements, gather the details that identify the entitlement: the Battle.net account, platform, exact item, reward source, and date earned, claimed, or purchased. For a purchase, keep the storefront receipt or transaction identifier. Sign in to the account that earned or bought the item, then contact Blizzard Support through its official site: Blizzard Support. Check the relevant platform’s transaction history as well if the purchase was made through a console or other storefront.
