Work through the checks below in order: restart Windows, check whether virtualization is enabled and detected, then investigate graphics drivers and software conflicts. The steps are diagnostic; LDPlayer’s official guide addresses loading failures at several percentages, not a guaranteed remedy for this exact stall.
Before changing settings, note what is happening
Record the LDPlayer version and Windows version, whether this is the first launch or an instance that used to work, whether other emulator instances are open, and what changed just before the stall. This context can help distinguish a new setup problem from a conflict or a resource issue.
LDPlayer says a loading failure on a previously working installation may involve graphics drivers, Virtual Technology (VT), antivirus software, or other software. That list identifies possible causes, not a diagnosis for every 99% stall. See LDPlayer’s loading-failure troubleshooting guide.
Try a restart, especially after using Google Play Games for PC
Restart Windows, then launch LDPlayer again. This is especially relevant if you recently opened Google Play Games for PC: LDPlayer says that app may temporarily enable Hyper-V and recommends restarting the PC before launching LDPlayer. This is a conditional check, not a confirmed fix for every 99% startup stall.

Check whether Windows reports virtualization as enabled
- Open Task Manager. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, select Performance, and look for the Virtualization status. The exact display may vary by Windows version.
- If it is disabled, enable it in BIOS/UEFI. Follow the computer or motherboard manufacturer’s instructions. The setting may be named Intel VT-x, VT, AMD SVM, or AMD-V; the menu and key to enter firmware vary by machine. LDPlayer’s Windows 10/11 virtualization guide, dated March 30, 2026, explains the general process.
- Save the change and restart Windows. Check Task Manager again, then test LDPlayer.
If Task Manager already reports virtualization enabled, do not assume that this proves LDPlayer can use it. Continue to the detection checks below.
If virtualization is enabled but LDPlayer does not detect it
LDPlayer’s VT-detection guide, dated December 20, 2021, lists possible conflicts involving Hyper-V, Virtual Machine Platform, Windows Hypervisor Platform, Windows Sandbox, Avast hardware-assisted virtualization, and Windows 11 Memory integrity. It also says LDPlayer 9 is compatible with Hyper-V. These features and their effects are version- and configuration-sensitive; do not turn off Windows security or virtualization features as a routine first step.

- Check LDPlayer’s current guidance and your Windows version before changing any Windows feature.
- Consider what else on the PC depends on Hyper-V or related virtualization features. Changing them may affect other software or security.
- If you use Avast, check whether its hardware-assisted virtualization setting is involved.

Check graphics drivers without overreading the diagnostic clue
Check for graphics-driver updates from your PC or GPU manufacturer, then review LDPlayer’s diagnostic information if available. LDPlayer notes that an OpenGL value of 1.1.0 or a blank value can indicate a damaged or crashed graphics driver in a specific case where the virtual box stops at 50%. That clue is not proof that a 99% stall has the same cause.

Look for software conflicts or resource pressure
Close background software that could interfere, including antivirus software or other games, and retry LDPlayer. Change one thing at a time so you can tell whether it affects startup. Do not disable security protection without understanding the risk and how to restore it.
If the problem involves a later emulator instance rather than the first one, LDPlayer’s guide suggests closing it, creating another instance, and checking whether CPU, memory, or graphics resources are exhausted. This advice addresses that particular scenario; it does not establish that a 99% stall is caused by a resource shortage.

Reinstall only after safer checks
LDPlayer suggests reinstalling if other checks fail. Before reinstalling or deleting an instance, use LDPlayer’s current backup or recovery guidance: local emulator data may be lost. Avoid deleting an instance as a test unless you have protected any data you need.
