Herz P1 publishes a clear setup path for the Smart Band: install the QRing app, turn on Bluetooth on the band, and follow the pairing prompts in the app. It does not publish a band-specific recovery procedure for sync failures or a band that won’t charge. This guide covers what the manufacturer documents, what to check against those documents, and when to go to Herz P1 support instead of trying fixes nobody has verified for this band.
What Herz P1 documents, and what it doesn’t
Herz P1’s Smart Band FAQ and App Installation Guide (both last updated January 20, 2026) cover pairing, notifications, battery estimates and water resistance. The Smart Band support category lists only those two items. It has no charging troubleshooting article.
Herz P1 also publishes charging and sync material for its Smart Ring. That is a different product, so don’t apply it to the band. The sections below stay within the band’s own documentation.
Sync problems: start with the documented pairing flow
The band uses the QRing companion app, available for iOS and Android. If the band and phone aren’t connecting, confirm you’ve followed the official sequence:

- Install QRing from your phone’s official app store.
- Activate Bluetooth on the band.
- Open QRing.
- Follow the pairing instructions shown inside the app. The setup guide’s wording is: “Follow the pairing instructions provided within the app.”
Herz P1’s band pages don’t describe a restart, unpair-and-re-pair, reinstall, firmware-update or phone-permission routine for a failed sync, and they don’t give any button combination or reset. Because those steps aren’t documented for this band, this guide doesn’t present them as official fixes. If the in-app pairing flow won’t complete, or a previously working connection stops, contact support (see below).
Notification problems
The FAQ states: “Yes. You can enable call, message, and app notifications through the QRing app.” So the place to start is QRing: check that the call, message and app notification categories you expect are switched on there.

The FAQ doesn’t give iOS or Android permission-screen paths, and it doesn’t explain why notifications might stop arriving. Notifications also depend on the band being connected, so a sync failure and a notification failure may be the same problem. If the settings in QRing are enabled and the band is paired but alerts still don’t arrive, report that to Herz P1 support with your phone model and operating system version.
Charging: what to expect
Herz P1’s FAQ gives these manufacturer estimates. They are not independent test results:

The FAQ gives the full-charge time as “around 1.5 hours”. Use that only as a rough guide. If a charge is taking much longer than that, or the band doesn’t respond to charging at all, it falls outside anything the manufacturer has documented.
The band pages also don’t specify the charger or cable type, the charging contacts, what a charging indicator should look like, or how to reset the band. Don’t buy a third-party cable or adapter on a guess, and don’t follow charging advice written for other Herz P1 products or other brands’ bands.

Keep water exposure within the stated limit
The FAQ says the band is “splash- and sweat-resistant but not suitable for swimming or hot showers.” Moisture or heat exposure beyond that is worth mentioning to support if the band later fails to sync or charge, since it may affect what help or warranty coverage is available.

For sync failures that survive the official pairing flow, notification failures, or any charging failure, go to Herz P1 directly. The FAQ lists support@herzp1.com and (877) 309-3614. Check the contact page on the Herz P1 site to confirm these are still current, since they come from a page last updated in January 2026.

A report is easier to act on if it includes:
- Your order details and where you bought the band. The FAQ names the official HerzP1.com store as the sales channel.
- Your phone model, its operating system version, and whether you use iOS or Android.
- What you did, in order: installed QRing, enabled Bluetooth on the band, followed the in-app pairing prompts.
- Exactly what happens: the pairing step where it stops, which notification types are missing, or how the band behaves when connected to a charger and for how long.
- Whether the band has been exposed to water beyond splashes or sweat.
