If Flipkart checkout freezes or a payment appears to fail, first check Account > Orders and your confirmation messages before trying again. A payment result and a confirmed order are separate things; checking both helps you avoid paying twice. If money was debited but no order appears, save the transaction details and contact Flipkart through its logged-in support channel.
First, check whether an order or payment exists
- Check Flipkart order history: in the app, open Account > Orders. Look for the relevant item and any order ID. Check for order confirmation messages as well.
- Check the payment record: review the bank account, card activity, or payment app used for checkout. Note whether the transaction is completed, pending, failed, or absent.
- Do not retry yet if the order or debit is unclear: contact official support to establish what happened before placing the same order again.

Choose the next step based on what happened
Checkout froze or an offer would not apply
Capture the error and note when it happened. Check Account > Orders before attempting checkout again. You can reopen the app or website and check your connection as basic troubleshooting, but these steps are not a verified fix for every checkout error. If the problem continues, report the exact message through official support. The available official information does not establish a sale-specific outage or a universal technical fix.
Payment failed and no debit appears
Check your bank or payment app’s transaction activity and Flipkart order history. If neither shows a completed payment or order, do not assume a reversal deadline based on a different payment scenario. If the same problem recurs, contact Flipkart support with the error and payment method.

Money was debited, but no order appears or payment is unconfirmed
Save the transaction reference, amount, date and time, and check the transaction status with your bank or payment app. Then check Flipkart order history and contact Flipkart through a logged-in official channel. A debit by itself does not establish that Flipkart created an order.
For a specific case—a domestic UPI merchant payment where the account was debited but confirmation did not reach the merchant—the Reserve Bank of India’s failed-transaction framework specifies auto-reversal within T+5 days. If reversal is delayed beyond that prescribed period, the framework provides for compensation of ₹100 per day. This rule concerns the payment transaction; it does not guarantee that an order was created. An order appears, but its status is pending or unclear
Open the order’s Help option and ask support to confirm whether it has been accepted or processed. Flipkart’s Terms of Use describe an order as an offer to the seller; placing it is not itself proof of seller acceptance. Avoid placing a duplicate order until the status is clear, especially if your payment was debited. Read Flipkart’s Terms of Use.
The order was cancelled after placement
Check the order details and payment method for refund status. Flipkart’s terms say that amounts paid are refunded in the described case where the seller cancels, but they do not establish a refund turnaround time. Ask support about the status of your specific refund rather than assuming a date.

Contact Flipkart through official support
Flipkart’s support guidance, published October 6, 2026, gives these routes for order help:
- App: Account > Orders > choose the order > Help > Chat with us.
- Website: log in, open the three-dot menu, select 24×7 Customer Care, choose the issue or order, and start a chat.
- General question: use the Help Centre bot. Order-specific assistance may require signing in.
Flipkart’s guidance says, “Only use the official Flipkart Support handle.” If an unexpected phone number or social account claims to be support, stop the conversation and open support from the app or website yourself. Have the transaction reference, amount, date and time, payment method, a screenshot of the error, and any order ID ready. Share these details only through official support or with your payment provider as needed.

For a payment that is pending, failed, or debited without a clear outcome, ask the payment provider to trace the transaction and ask Flipkart whether an order exists. A payment reversal and order creation or acceptance are different outcomes.
