If display glasses look blurry, cropped, shifted, or flicker, start by adjusting the fit, then clean the lenses and check whether you need vision correction. For a shifted or missing image, check the cable and device compatibility. Blur during quick head turns can be a model-specific stabilization trade-off; persistent flicker or one-sided blur needs support from the glasses’ manufacturer.
Fix blurry edges or a cropped image by adjusting the fit
Display glasses need to sit in the right position for their virtual image to line up with your eyes. Move the nose pad and temple arms until the frame feels secure and the image is centered. Change one adjustment at a time, then look at the same part of the image to see whether the edges become clearer or less cut off.

Clean the lenses and check your vision correction
Remove smudges gently
Clean the lenses with a soft microfiber cloth. XREAL says a mild neutral cleaner may be used if needed; dry the lenses thoroughly afterward. Cleaning can remove smudges that soften the image, but it will not correct a fit problem or an optical defect. XREAL One Series FAQ.

Confirm whether your glasses need prescription inserts
If the image remains blurry after cleaning and adjusting the fit, your eyesight may be a factor. XREAL recommends compatible prescription lenses for nearsighted users and advises people with high degrees of nearsightedness to contact support about customized solutions. Inserts are model-specific: confirm compatibility with the glasses manufacturer or an optical professional before ordering. Prescription correction will not fix a shifted image or faulty hardware. Tell static blur from blur during movement
If the image is clear while your head is still but blurs during quick turns, check whether image stabilization is enabled. XREAL documents slight motion blur with stabilization enabled during quick turns or large head movements on its xbx a01 series. The company describes it as a trade-off for that feature and says stabilization is more suitable for moving environments. This guidance applies to that series, not display glasses generally. Fix a shifted, unstable, or missing image
- Check the connection. Reseat the cable and confirm that the source device supports the DisplayPort video output required by your glasses. Compatibility and connection requirements vary by model; check its manual or support page.
- Recenter the image if your model supports it. XREAL says an image in Anchor mode may be outside the field of view and recommends pressing the X button to recenter. This control applies to the relevant XREAL setup, not all glasses.
- Check fit and model-specific viewing requirements. RayNeo’s FAQ gives a suitable IPD range of 56–70 mm for the XR glasses it covers. Do not apply that range to other brands or models. Consult your model’s documentation for its own requirements and controls.

Troubleshoot flicker without assuming a single cause
The available manufacturer guidance does not establish one universal cause or fix for flicker across display glasses. Isolate the setup: reseat the connection, check the glasses with a compatible source device if available, and review the settings and connection requirements for the exact model. If flicker continues across compatible devices and settings, contact the manufacturer rather than assuming a wearer adjustment will fix it.

When to contact the manufacturer
Ask the manufacturer’s support team for model-specific help if one area stays blurry after you have checked fit, cleaned the lenses, and considered prescription correction, or if flicker persists after connection and settings checks. Include the glasses model, source device, connection method, and when the symptom occurs. A wearer may be able to improve fit or setup, but persistent defects are not necessarily user-correctable.
