The patchwork villager from Pumpkin Town is Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. If you already have her in your Valley, find and speak with her for the Haunting Elegance Star Path duty. If she is not unlocked yet, you will need to start her separate quest, “The Woven Bridge.”
Find Sally for the Haunting Elegance Star Path
The patchwork clue refers to Sally’s ragdoll appearance, while Pumpkin Town points to her story in The Nightmare Before Christmas. The October 2026 Star Path guide identifies her as the villager to find for the duty. Destructoid’s October 5, 2026 guide describes the current task steps.
If Sally is already unlocked, look for her around the Valley, or use the map and character-tracking features available in your game. The guide does not establish a fixed location or schedule.

- Find Sally and speak with her.
- Select “Let’s hang out!”

Complete the favorite-gift duty
Give Sally one of the items she requests that day. You can check her requested items through dialogue or on the Collection page, according to the same guide. The duty calls for a daily requested item, not simply any gift.

Unlock Sally with “The Woven Bridge”
Finding Sally for a Star Path duty and unlocking her as a villager are separate tasks. The Dreamlight Valley Wiki lists “The Woven Bridge” as her unlock quest and names these prerequisites:
- Complete Merlin’s “Odds & Ends” quest.
- Complete Mirabel’s level-two “Healing House” quest.
- Unlock Vanellope.
- Unlock Jack Skellington.
These requirements come from the community-maintained Dreamlight Valley Wiki’s Sally page; the official pages reviewed do not provide a complete current unlock walkthrough.

Start the quest
- After meeting the prerequisites, wait for Jack Skellington’s letter about spiders in Anna’s Castle.
- Read the letter, then enter Anna’s Castle to start “The Woven Bridge,” as described by the wiki.
- Follow the objectives shown in your game to progress through the quest.
The cited wiki supports the prerequisites and quest trigger, but not a full step-by-step sequence of objectives.
If spiderwebs cannot be collected
Gameloft has documented a past issue collecting spiderwebs during “The Woven Bridge.” Its support note about spiderweb collection is old and does not establish whether the issue remains in the current game build. If you encounter it, check current official support for an up-to-date status rather than assuming the old issue is still active.

Separate event timing from Sally’s unlock
The Season of Scares event is separate from Sally’s character quest. In its September 21, 2026 announcement, Disney Dreamlight Valley said the third of six weekly Oogie Boogie quests was scheduled for October 7, 2026. Players who begin the first quest before November 4 can continue the remaining quests at their own pace; Oogie Boogie and Zero unlock through those quests. Read the official Steam announcement for that event schedule.
