The right way to get a Google AI-made game to other people depends on what Google AI created. If it is a web app from Google AI Studio, you can share its project or code, or deploy the web app to Cloud Run. If you want a Google Play listing, you need a separately prepared Android app and must release it through Play Console; AI Studio sharing and web deployment are not Android exports.

Choose the destination that matches your game

Destination What it means Best fit
Share an AI Studio project or code Let someone access or build on the project and its code. Google describes editing, saving, sharing, and integrating Starter App code into another project. Google’s Starter Apps overview Collaboration, feedback, or continued development
Deploy a web app Put the generated web app online using the Cloud Run deployment workflow described for AI Studio. Google’s AI Studio updates Making a browser game available as a hosted web app
Publish on Google Play Prepare an Android app and complete the Play Console setup, testing, and release process. Google Play Console app setup Distributing an Android game through the Play Store

Google AI Studio’s Build experience creates web apps and supports further code iteration; the cited documentation does not establish a direct export from an AI Studio web game to an Android package. Google’s AI Studio updates

Share an AI Studio game project or its code

If your game is based on an AI Studio Starter App, Google says you can edit it in the built-in editor, save and share it, and integrate its code into your own project. The provided code is also available for use in projects. Google’s Starter Apps overview

  1. Open the project in Google AI Studio and make any changes in the built-in editor.
  2. Save the project, then use the sharing controls available in the current AI Studio interface.
  3. Before sending the project, check who can access it and whether the recipient can open it with their account.
  4. If you want to reuse the game in a different project, integrate or copy the provided code rather than treating the share link as an app-store package.

Google’s Starter Apps description dates from April 2025. Interface labels and sharing behavior may change, so use the controls shown in your current AI Studio account.

Deploy the game as a web app

For a browser-based game, Google described one-click deployment of AI Studio-generated apps to Cloud Run in May 2025. This is web hosting, not Google Play distribution. The article characterized the feature as experimental at the time, so confirm that the option is available in your account before relying on it. Google’s AI Studio updates

  1. Open the generated game in AI Studio’s Build experience and review the code it produced.
  2. Test the game’s controls and behavior before sharing it. Check that it works in the browsers and on the devices you expect people to use.
  3. Use the Cloud Run deployment action if it is available in the current interface, and follow the prompts to deploy the web app.
  4. Open the deployed app yourself and test the live result before distributing its URL.

Google advises checking generated code before sharing a project externally. The cited description does not guarantee that the feature is currently available, that every generated app is secure or suitable for production, or that a game will work equally well on every device. Review the code and the deployed app for your own use case.

Publish an Android game on Google Play

A web game made in AI Studio is not, by itself, evidence of a Play-ready Android app. To publish on Google Play, you need a separately buildable Android app and must use Play Console’s app setup and release workflow. Google Play uses Android App Bundles to generate APKs optimized for different device configurations. Google Play Console app setup

  1. Create the app in Play Console and identify it as a game.
  2. Set its free or paid status, provide contact details, and complete the required declarations.
  3. Complete the Play Console dashboard tasks for the app’s content and store listing.
  4. Prepare and upload the Android app release, then choose an appropriate testing track or production release.
  5. Address any required testing or review steps shown in Play Console before requesting wider availability.

The Play Console dashboard and current help pages are the authoritative places to confirm requirements for your app and account. Google says personal developer accounts created after November 13, 2023 must meet specific testing requirements before an app can be made available. The exact steps depend on the account and release. Understand testing and review status

Play Console distinguishes internal, closed, and open testing from pre-registration and production. Choose a track based on whether you are validating the game with a limited audience or releasing it broadly. Google says review can take seven days or longer in exceptional cases; that is a caveat, not an average or a guaranteed approval schedule. Google Play publishing overview

What a Google AI game example demonstrates

Google’s March 2026 example shows a playable Chrome Dino-style web game created in AI Studio. It uses MediaPipe Pose Landmarker for motion-based jumps and offers the spacebar as a fallback. The example illustrates one possible web-game interaction; it does not make camera input necessary, nor does it supply a general route for publishing on Google Play. Google’s AI Studio game example
