To earn the PS5 Platinum in Star Wars: Galactic Racer, you need all 50 trophies—not just a completed campaign. The list combines Galactic League progression with Arcade gold times, tour-wide results, Racer Styles and Favors, Rivalries, Backers, and deliberate race-specific challenges. This guide organizes the requirements into manageable workstreams and reproduces every PS5 trophy condition. How to plan the Galactic Racer Platinum
The PS5 trophy list has 50 trophies: one Platinum, one Gold, 10 Silver, and 38 Bronze. Its conditions span the campaign, Arcade, tours, unlocks, and individual races, so track them by scope rather than expecting campaign progress to unlock everything. The game features a story-driven campaign, PvP grudge matches, rivalries, vehicle customization, and landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers. (PowerPyx; StarWars.com)
- Progress through the Galactic League: join the League, become a Qualified racer, defeat Kestar Bool in the Stadium Showdown, then beat him in the Galactic League Championship. The separate Champion-difficulty trophy applies to the Championship specifically.
- Build your roster and mode progress: unlock every Racer Style and Favor, complete Tales of Podracing, defeat every Racer in a Rivalry Head-to-Head, earn Excellent Tour ratings from each Backer, and win ten Sidebets.
- Work through Arcade and Gauntlet: earn Gold on 50 Arcade times, then win the Galactic Gauntlet with every speeder type, every Racer Style, and every Favor. These are separate requirements, so expect to use multiple setups.
- Reserve cleanup races: pursue the style-specific combat and speed challenges, tour-scoped goals, ability use, and intentional failure conditions with a deliberate setup.
This is a checklist-based plan, not a verified fastest route. The available trophy information does not establish completion time, difficulty, missability, offline availability, online requirements, or whether any conditions have changed in a patch. Check the current in-game or platform trophy list if an update may have affected a requirement.

- Speed is Dangerous, Embrace it Anyway — Gain Surge for 60 seconds continuously.
- The Most Dangerous Racing in the Galaxy — Remain Overcharged for 40 seconds continuously.
- Very Fast, Very Dangerous — Use Afterburner for 60 seconds continuously.
- Hibi’s Speedies — Exceed 650 km/h in any Speeder.
- Punch it, Shade! — Use Ramjet for 60 seconds continuously.
- Risk, Reward — Place 1st in an event against other racers without crashing.
- Risk, No Reward — Blow up by overheating your Ramjet.
- That’s Got to Hurt! — Wreck out of an event.
Bronze: campaign and tour progress
- Impeding! — Join the Galactic League.
- Qualified! — Become a Qualified racer in the Galactic League.
- Disqualified! — Defeat Kestar Bool in the Stadium Showdown.
- That’s How You Win Championships — Place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in six Eliminator Races within a single Campaign tour.

Bronze: styles, Favors, and rivals

- Raging Rancor — With the Brawler Racer Style, take down five racers within a Standard or Eliminator race.
- Speed and Violence — With the Tech Expert Racer Style, hit five racers with Ion Bolt within a Standard or Eliminator race.
- One Hell of a Thrill — With the Redliner Racer Style, stay above 550 km/h for five seconds within a Standard or Eliminator race.

Bronze: pre-race and Tales of Podracing
- Start Your Engines! — Successfully complete four Pre-Race Checks.
- Now This is Podracing! — Complete the first Tales of Podracing event.
Keep tour-scoped trophies on one checklist
Several conditions explicitly apply within a single Campaign tour. Track them together so you can plan a tour around its events and avoid assuming that progress carries between tours. The trophy descriptions do not say that these goals must be completed in the same tour as one another.
- Clean Sweep: finish in the top three in every event in one Campaign tour.
- That’s How You Win Championships: finish in the top three in six Eliminator Races within one Campaign tour.
- The Real Soul of Racing: take two Upgrades to maximum level within one tour.
- Pride of Gathleon: earn an Excellent Tour rating from each Backer. This is a distinct all-Backers requirement; do not assume one rating satisfies the others.
Set up deliberate cleanup races
Some Bronze trophies call for a specific loadout, mode, uninterrupted duration, or intentional failure. They are easier to track as individual attempts than as general campaign progress.

- Style challenges: use Brawler for five takedowns, Tech Expert for five Ion Bolt hits, or Redliner to stay above 550 km/h for five seconds. Each condition must happen within a Standard or Eliminator race.
- Continuous ability use: hold Surge for 60 seconds, remain Overcharged for 40 seconds, use Afterburner for 60 seconds, and use Ramjet for 60 seconds. The list specifies continuous duration for each.
- Intentional failures: overheat Ramjet until it blows you up for Risk, No Reward, and wreck out of an event for That’s Got to Hurt!.
- Faulty-parts win: install at least four Faulty Parts and place first in an event to earn Hunk of Junk.
- Other race goals: win without crashing for Risk, Reward, exceed 650 km/h for Hibi’s Speedies, and complete four Pre-Race Checks for Start Your Engines!.
What to know about platforms
This checklist is for PS5 trophies, including its Platinum. Steam lists single-player, online PvP, cross-platform multiplayer, and Steam Achievements, while the PS5 list has 50 trophies and Steam/PC reporting cites 49 achievements. Treat the PS5 requirements here as platform-specific rather than assuming every condition is identical on PC or Xbox; consult the live list for the platform you are playing.
