Goldroad is an optional paid track; it is not required for standard Kingsroad rewards.
Start with Kingsroad goals
For Zynga’s Endless Winter season, running September 14, 2026, at 3:00 a.m. ET through October 12, 2026, at 2:00 a.m. ET, each of the five daily goals awards 300 Kingsroad points, and each weekly goal awards 800 points. Completing the available goals is the clearest documented recurring way to advance the track. See Zynga’s season notice for the season’s rewards and schedule.
Use the in-game Kingsroad screen to check which goals are available and how close you are to the next tier. The notice gives the point value per goal, but does not establish a universal number of weekly goals; rely on the goals shown in your game rather than assuming a fixed weekly total.
Plan effort after Tier 50
After Tier 50, the season offers one bonus chest for every 700 additional points. Before taking on extra activities solely for Kingsroad, check your current points and estimate whether the next chest is within reach. The published threshold does not establish that every chest is equally valuable for every account, so weigh its potential rewards against the time or resources needed.

Choose between Kingsroad and Goldroad
Kingsroad’s standard track includes rewards such as champion shards and summoning tokens. Buying Goldroad adds rewards at Kingsroad tiers you reach; the season notice lists 15 Legendary Champion Shards for Night King (Bane of the Living) on Goldroad. Elite Goldroad lists additional items including Exalted Tokens, Legendary Gear, summon tokens, Valyrian Essence, and Skill Books.

Decide whether a pass makes sense by checking the current season’s listed rewards and the tiers you expect to reach, then comparing those rewards with your budget. The lineup changes by season; Goldroad is not a prerequisite for collecting standard Kingsroad rewards.

Check event and summon windows before spending tokens
Event activities and event-token summons do not necessarily share identical dates. Zynga’s September 2025 summoning update says event-token summons continue slightly before and after their associated events. Its July 2026 calendar also illustrates that summon windows may start before and finish after an event. Treat the current in-game timer as authoritative, and check the champion pool shown for the summon before using tokens.
Summons are chance based, according to Zynga’s July 2026 calendar. Do not treat spending tokens or money as guaranteed progress toward a particular champion unless the live rules explicitly promise that outcome. The calendar also notes shards may come from gameplay, chance-based drops, or purchase.

Use the calendar to choose additional activities
Kingsroad goals are the best-supported recurring priority when your aim is to advance Kingsroad. The calendar can also show other reward channels, such as quest events, PVP tier rewards, Legend Trials, and event summons. Check the current calendar and event screens to see what is active and what rewards match your goals; a past calendar is not a schedule for the current season.
The official material does not establish a universally best stage, team, or energy-spending pattern for rewards per energy. Your roster, account progress, and the current event rules may change which activity is practical, so avoid assuming a particular stage is the most efficient without checking its live rewards and requirements.
