If you mean NVIDIA’s Atomic Heart RTX Tech Demo, NVIDIA’s listing still identifies the 2019 graphics showcase, but its link to Mundfish currently leads to a page that returns 404. An official working download is therefore not confirmed. Steam’s separate Atomic Heart Demo is a different listing—not a replacement download for the RTX showcase.
Which Atomic Heart demo are you looking for?
“Atomic Heart technology demo” usually refers to NVIDIA’s Atomic Heart RTX Tech Demo. NVIDIA describes it as an early look at Mundfish’s game, showcasing ray-traced reflections and shadows alongside DLSS. The entry dates the demo to April 11, 2019 and says it was originally released for GeForce RTX 20-Series graphics cards.
There is also a distinct Atomic Heart Demo on Steam, identified by Steam Support as app ID 2407990. It has its own Steam listing; it is not the NVIDIA RTX technology showcase.
| Listing | Purpose and source | Availability information |
|---|---|---|
| Atomic Heart RTX Tech Demo | NVIDIA graphics showcase; NVIDIA’s page links to Mundfish. | The Mundfish destination returned 404 when checked on September 28, 2026, so a working official download is not confirmed. |
| Atomic Heart Demo (Steam app ID 2407990) | A separate demo listing on Steam. | A Steam store listing is available. It is not the RTX showcase. |

Use the download link shown in that entry only if it leads to a working page. NVIDIA’s link to Mundfish returned 404 when checked on September 28, 2026; do not treat that destination as a working download.

If the link remains unavailable, there is no confirmed working official download in the listed sources. You can check NVIDIA’s demo page again later, but do not assume that a third-party download is authentic or safe.

What hardware and features did NVIDIA list?
NVIDIA’s entry describes ray-traced reflections and shadows, with Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS). It gives April 11, 2019 as the release date and GeForce RTX 20-Series cards as the original target. That is historical information, not confirmation that the download is currently available or that a particular newer GPU, operating system, or configuration will run it.
Is the Steam demo the same download?
No. Steam’s Atomic Heart Demo is a separate product listing. To find that demo, open its Steam page and follow Steam’s on-page availability and installation options for your account and region. Steam’s page is age-gated and lists blood and gore, intense violence, language, and nudity in its content warning.
