To get a monthly record, open Profile > Documents & statements > Account statements in the Cash App, or sign in at cash.app/account and select Documents > Account statements. Cash App says monthly statements become available during the last five business days of each month. Its public instructions explain how to open a statement but do not specify a CSV export or file format.
Get a monthly statement in the Cash App
- Open Cash App and tap the Profile icon.
- Tap Documents & statements.
- Choose Account statements.
- Select the year and month you need, if prompted, and open the statement.
Cash App says monthly statements are made available during the last five business days of the month. If the month you need is not listed yet, check the year and the account you are signed into, then check again during that availability window. Cash App’s monthly statement instructions describe this route.
Open a statement on the web
- Sign in to cash.app/account.
- Choose Documents on the left, then select Account statements.
- Use the dropdown arrow to expand the year you want.
- Click Open next to the month.
The published web instructions say to open the selected month. They do not identify a download button, file type, or CSV export option, so do not assume the monthly statement can be exported as a spreadsheet. Check the options in your signed-in account or ask Cash App Support if you need a particular format. Cash App’s statement guide provides the web steps.
Choose the right record for what you need

Cash App’s Terms of Service say that transaction receipts and account statements are available in a Cash App account. The terms also discuss 12-month and 24-month transaction histories in the app or at cash.app/account. The available history can depend on account or product coverage, so do not assume every account displays the same period in the same way.

If you need a tax document
Tax forms are different from ordinary transaction history. For tax year 2025, Cash App says business-account users with more than $20,000 and more than 200 transactions will receive a Form 1099-K by February 2, 2026; Cash App says the form and transaction summary can be accessed in the app under Settings > Documents. State reporting requirements may be lower. See Cash App’s Form 1099-K guidance for the relevant tax-year details.
Cash App says personal accounts do not receive a Form 1099-K from it, except when someone previously had a business account, crossed the stated threshold, and then switched to a personal account. A Form 1099-K reports gross payments; that amount is not necessarily the same as taxable income. Cash App says it cannot determine whether a particular payment is taxable, so consult an appropriate tax professional for advice about your situation.

When the record or format is missing
- Month not listed: Confirm the account and year. Monthly statements may not appear until the last five business days of the month.
- Need proof of one payment: Look in Activity for its receipt rather than searching only among monthly statements.
- Need a tax form: Check the account type and tax year, then look under Settings > Documents for applicable business tax documents.
- Need CSV or another specific format: The published statement instructions do not specify an export format. Check the live account interface or contact Cash App through its official support options; avoid giving account credentials to third-party tools.
