To install Firefox on a Windows 11 ARM PC, use Mozilla’s Firefox download page and run the installer. Mozilla says its standard installer offers the best available version for your computer. If you select a build manually, choose Windows ARM64/AArch64, not the standard Windows 64-bit build. You can also install Firefox from the Microsoft Store.
Download Firefox using Mozilla’s installer
- On the Windows 11 ARM PC, open Mozilla’s Firefox download page in a browser such as Microsoft Edge.
- Select Download Firefox, then open the downloaded installer and follow its prompts. Mozilla says this installer automatically offers the best available version for the computer.
- If the page asks you to choose a platform manually, select Windows ARM64/AArch64. Mozilla lists this architecture separately from Windows 64-bit. Its Firefox 131.0.3 system-requirements page confirms the ARM64/AArch64 option; that page documents the architecture, not the current Firefox release number.
Mozilla advises checking its system requirements before installing. Its published information establishes an ARM64/AArch64 download option, but does not confirm compatibility behavior for every Windows 11 ARM device model.
Install Firefox from the Microsoft Store
- Open Microsoft Store in Windows and search for Mozilla Firefox.
- Select the Mozilla Firefox application and choose Get.
- When installation completes, open Firefox from the Store page or your Start menu.

Choose between the installer and Microsoft Store

The Store-specific details in the table are from Mozilla’s Microsoft Store guide. If you install both versions, their separate profiles mean that data in one profile is not automatically the same as data in the other.

Recognize the ARM build in Mozilla’s release archive
If you are browsing an archived release rather than installing the current version, Mozilla names the Windows ARM64/AArch64 platform folder win64-aarch64. For example, the Firefox 141.0 Windows ARM64/AArch64 archive directory uses that name. The archive is for a specific older release; most users should use Mozilla’s current download page instead.
