To download and install Acer NitroSense, identify your exact laptop on Acer’s Drivers and Manuals page, download the NitroSense ZIP listed under Applications for that device, extract it, and run Setup.exe. NitroSense is preinstalled on supported Nitro laptops, so Acer’s download is chiefly for when the app is missing or not working. Nitro Lite models do not support NitroSense.
Download the NitroSense package for your exact laptop
- Find your laptop’s serial number, SNID, or part number. Acer’s U.S. Drivers and Manuals portal accepts these identifiers.
- Enter an identifier in the portal and open the support page for the matching device.
- Choose the supported operating-system selection for your device, then open Application downloads.
- Download the NitroSense package listed for that support record. Acer’s installation instructions say to select the model and click “Application”; they do not recommend using a package listed for a different Nitro model.
If NitroSense is not listed, confirm that the portal identified the correct laptop and check the operating-system selection. Acer’s documentation does not establish why a particular device’s page might omit the package, so a package for another model is not a confirmed substitute. Nitro Lite is an explicitly unsupported case.
Install and open NitroSense
- Extract the downloaded ZIP file.
- Open the extracted folder and run
Setup.exeto install NitroSense. - After installation, open NitroSense from the Windows Start menu. On models with a dedicated NitroSense key, that key may also open the app; Acer’s AN515-57 guide documents this for that model specifically.
Acer’s published steps do not establish a universal need to run Setup.exe as administrator or specify Windows requirements for every release. Follow any instructions included with the package offered for your device.
What NitroSense can do
Acer describes NitroSense as an application for monitoring CPU and GPU temperatures and adjusting fan speed and power-plan settings. Available options vary by model. Acer’s Windows 11 quick guide for the Nitro AN515-57 shows a screen with fan speeds, power plan, component temperatures, and loading performance; this is an example for that model, not a feature guarantee for every Nitro laptop.

Temperature readings are contextual, not universal safety thresholds. Acer cautions in its AN515-57 guide: “The temperatures listed may vary depending on your computer’s configuration and the power output of the CPU and GPU.” The guide does not establish a universal safe-temperature cutoff.
Why the exact model matters
NitroSense downloads and feature availability are tied to device support records. For example, one Acer China product-support listing displayed NitroSense 3.01.3056 in a 27.8 MB file named NitroSense_Acer_3.01.3056_W11x64.zip, dated 2026-05-14. That listing applies to one product support record, not all Nitro laptops; use the package Acer presents for your identified machine.

For usage details, Acer’s NitroSense guidance notes that options vary by model. After changing settings, close the app with the X to save them, as Acer’s usage instructions advise.
