Samsung Galaxy Buds can connect to an iPhone over Bluetooth, even when a particular Buds model does not support Samsung’s iOS companion app. To pair them, put the earbuds in pairing mode, then choose them in Settings > Bluetooth on the iPhone.
Pair Galaxy Buds with an iPhone for the first time

Put the earbuds in their charging case, close the lid, and wait 5–6 seconds. Open the lid; Samsung says the earbuds should enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

On the iPhone, open Settings > Bluetooth and turn on Bluetooth if it is off.

Under the available devices, tap your Galaxy Buds to connect. Samsung’s U.S. instructions are in its Galaxy earbuds connection guide.

If your Buds are already paired to another device
The case-opening method may not be enough if the earbuds are connected to or remembered by another device. Samsung’s pairing-mode procedure varies by model, so identify your Buds first and follow the matching instructions in its connection guide. Samsung describes using both touchpads while wearing the original Galaxy Buds, Buds+, Buds Live, and Buds Pro; for Buds2 and Buds2 Pro, it describes using both touchpads while the earbuds are in the case.
Bluetooth pairing and the Galaxy Buds iOS app are different
Bluetooth lets you connect and use the earbuds for basic audio. It does not mean the model supports Samsung’s iPhone companion app. Samsung’s U.S. compatibility page lists Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds+ as compatible with the Galaxy Buds iOS app; it identifies other listed models as Bluetooth-only on iOS. Check the current Galaxy Buds iOS compatibility list for your model.

Samsung’s support pages do not provide a complete feature-by-feature matrix for every Buds model on iPhone. Do not assume app-dependent settings or controls are available just because Bluetooth audio works.
Auto switch is not available on iOS
Samsung says Auto switch is unavailable on iOS. The feature is described for supported Samsung phones and tablets, and Samsung TVs from 2022 or later, subject to device and account conditions. Details are in Samsung’s Auto switch support guide.

Pairing directions and app support depend on the exact Galaxy Buds model. The instructions and compatibility information linked here are from Samsung’s U.S. support pages; menus and procedures may differ by region, iOS version, firmware, or newly released models. Use Samsung’s current guidance for your specific earbuds if the steps above do not match what you see.
