The widget manages TON Connect for its own swap flow, so you do not need to install TON Connect packages or build a separate wallet interface for this setup.
Before you configure standalone mode
- Create and host your application’s TON Connect manifest at a public URL. The Omniston guide says the manifest must be hosted on the same domain as your application; wallets may reject connections if those domains do not match. See the Omniston Widget documentation.
- Add a container element to the page, such as
<div id="omniston-widget-container"></div>. - Choose how to load the widget: the CDN script for a static page, or the npm loader for a bundled application.
The STON.fi quick-start sample manifest includes url, name, and iconUrl; customize those values for your application. This is an example of manifest contents, not a complete statement of the TON Connect manifest specification. See the STON.fi quick start.
Load and mount the widget
Option 1: Load the CDN script
For a static page, load https://widget.ston.fi/v0/index.js. When it has loaded, create the widget and mount it into the container:

</script>Replace the example manifest URL with the public URL you host for your application. Call mount() only after the target container exists.

Option 2: Load through the npm package
In a bundled application, install @ston-fi/omniston-widget-loader, call its load() method, and instantiate the constructor it returns. The package is a loader for the CDN-hosted widget bundle, not a fixed local copy of the widget. The project’s repository describes this distribution approach.
Once loaded, use the same tonconnect configuration shown above and mount the instance into an existing DOM element. The required standalone option is manifestUrl; other widget settings are optional.

Choose standalone or integrated mode
Standalone is intended for a page where the widget should initialize TON Connect itself. Integrated mode is for an application that already owns an initialized TON Connect instance and wants the widget to share its connection, wallet choice, or connected account.

The Omniston guide warns that the TON Connect SDK permits only one instance in an application and that multiple instances can crash the app. If your application has already initialized TON Connect, pass that instance to integrated mode rather than adding a standalone instance alongside it. Optional widget configuration
Set the initially selected assets
defaultBidAsset and defaultAskAsset can set the assets selected when the widget opens. Use defaultAssets to control whether the built-in asset list is shown. If you set it to false, provide a non-empty customAssets list; otherwise, the selector will have no tradable assets.
Configure a referral fee
The widget supports an optional referral fee using both referrerAddress and referrerFeeBps. The guide gives a fee range of 1 to 100 basis points (0.01% to 1%). This is a widget configuration option; the guide does not establish a separate affiliate program or its terms.

Style the widget and manage its lifecycle
Override CSS custom properties on the widget container to adjust styling. The documentation also identifies mount, unmount, and error lifecycle events. If your page dynamically opens or closes the widget, call its unmount() method during cleanup.
Understand CDN versioning
The CDN uses major-version paths such as /v0/ and /v1/. STON.fi documents non-breaking updates within a major version; integrators should change the path when adopting a breaking major version. Check the current widget guide and the version deployed by your application when upgrading, because widget bundles and configuration details can change.
