Use the RingConn Gen 3 sizing kit on the finger where you plan to wear the ring, and wear it for at least 24 hours—including overnight—before choosing. RingConn says Gen 3 sizing may differ from standard ring sizes and other RingConn generations, so don’t rely on a familiar size number alone. The right fit should feel secure without painful pressure, restricted circulation, or troublesome rotation.
Why use the Gen 3 sizing kit?
RingConn recommends its Gen 3-specific sizing kit because Gen 3 sizes may not match standard rings or sizing kits from other RingConn generations. If you choose the free-kit option in the official order flow, RingConn says the kit is sent before the ring ships. Your regular ring size can help you identify a starting point, but it is not a substitute for trying the Gen 3 sizer on your intended finger. Likewise, don’t assume a Gen 2 kit gives a reliable Gen 3 size.
How to test your size
- Choose the finger. RingConn recommends the index, middle, or ring finger. Its general sizing guide favors the index for accuracy and notes the middle finger as a comfort option. Test the finger you actually intend to wear the ring on.
- Orient the sizer correctly. Position the sensor side against the finger pad, following RingConn’s wearing guidance.
- Wear it for at least 24 hours. Keep the sizer on through ordinary daily activities and sleep; the Gen 3 kit guidance also recommends testing during exercise. A full day and night lets you assess fit during normal movement and changing conditions.
- Check security and comfort. The sizer should feel secure and slightly snug, and should not rotate during everyday activity. It should not hurt, restrict circulation, or be difficult to remove. If it does, try the next size up.
- Account for the finished ring’s feel. RingConn says the kit is plastic and the actual ring has a smoother inner surface, so the finished ring may slide on and off more easily. A loose-feeling sizer is not the goal; choose one that stays secure while remaining comfortable.
- Submit the selected size. For an order placed with the size unknown, RingConn’s instructions say to sign in with the email used for the order, open My Orders, and submit your choice. If you used a borrowed kit or a 3D-printed sizer, the guide says to place the ring order with the selected size.
What a comfortable fit should feel like
- Secure: It stays in place rather than turning or slipping during ordinary movement.
- Comfortable through the day and night: It does not become painful during sleep or activity.
- Removable: You can take it off without undue difficulty.
- Not constricting: It does not restrict circulation. RingConn notes that light marks can be normal, particularly after sleep or natural swelling, but pain or circulation restriction means the fit is too tight.
Compare candidate sizes using these same checks rather than choosing solely by the printed number. If a size is comfortable but rotates or slips, test a smaller option; if it causes pain, is hard to remove, or feels constricting, test a larger one.

Before ordering or confirming
Delivery estimates and return terms are regional and can change. The US version of RingConn’s kit page estimates 3–8 days for kit delivery depending on location; it lists a $10 shipping fee for an individual kit purchase, describes individual kits as consumable and non-returnable, and says that shipping fee is non-refundable. The page also estimates ring delivery within 3–8 days after size confirmation and describes a 14-calendar-day product return window. Check the current terms for your region on the official kit page before relying on them.
