What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Start with the stores and countries where you shop, then check whether a tracker follows the exact product variant you want. Compare its price-history window, alert controls, setup requirements, and data practices before relying on it. A chart can help you judge a price, but the seller and checkout total determine the offer you can actually buy.
What to compare before choosing a tracker
Retailer and country coverage
A tracker is useful only if it supports the retailer, marketplace, and listing you shop. Coverage can differ by country even when a service supports the same retailer elsewhere. For example, Google’s Chrome Shopping Insights guidance lists Australia, Canada, India, Japan, and the U.S. for Chrome price tracking. Keepa’s Chrome Web Store listing describes price histories and alerts for specified Amazon marketplace domains. Check the current supported-market list and the exact product page you plan to track; provider descriptions do not independently verify every listing.
Product, variant, and offer matching
Make sure the history belongs to the item you intend to buy, not a similar model or a different color, size, storage capacity, seller, or condition. Google says Chrome Shopping Insights can show variant-aware price history and ranges, including for colors or storage capacities, but you should still compare the graph with the exact listing. Google’s feature guidance describes those insights; it does not make every displayed offer interchangeable.
History window and price types
Check how far back the chart goes and what kind of price it represents. A short history may be enough to follow a planned purchase, while a longer view can put a temporary promotion in context. Amazon’s June 2026 description of Alexa for Shopping says its price-history views include 30, 90, and 365 days. Amazon said the 365-day view was rolling out in the U.S., UK, and India, with full availability expected in the coming weeks at the time of publication; it said price history was available to customers in the U.S., UK, Canada, and India. Those are Amazon’s stated rollout details, which may have changed. Different trackers may also represent different offers or price types, so do not assume their charts measure the same thing.

- Four Tags for Everyday Essentials — Keep track of keys, bags, backpacks and luggage with a four-pack of FancyDove tracker tags. Attach one to each item and give it a clear name in Find My.
- Works with Apple Find My — Add each tag to the Items tab in Apple's Find My app on a compatible iPhone or iPad. Designed for Apple devices; Android pairing is not supported.
- Ring Nearby, Locate on the Map — Play a sound when your tag is within Bluetooth range. Away from you, the Find My network can help report its location when detected by a nearby participating Apple device. Location updates depend on network availability.
- Help When an Item Goes Missing — Enable supported left-behind notifications in Find My and use Lost Mode for a missing item. This is an item finder, not a real-time GPS tracker; alerts and location updates are not guaranteed to be immediate.
- Replaceable Battery, Simple Setup — Powered by a replaceable CR2032 battery. Follow the included instructions to activate each tag, choose Add Other Item in Find My, and assign an item name. Check the device requirements before pairing.
Alert controls
Find out whether alerts can be set for a target price, a price drop, or renewed availability, and whether they arrive by email, push notification, or another method. Keepa describes price-drop and availability alerts for supported Amazon sites in its Chrome Web Store listing. Google documents product tracking and notification controls for Chrome Shopping Insights in its help page. These feature descriptions are not independent tests of alert speed, accuracy, or false-alert rates.
Setup and access requirements
A feature that requires a particular browser, account, or setting may not fit your devices or preferences. Google’s stated requirements for Chrome price tracking include signing in to Chrome with a Google account, syncing tabs and history, and opting in to “Make searches and browsing better.” Google also lists availability in Australia, Canada, India, Japan, and the U.S. Check its current requirements before relying on the feature.

How to compare common approaches
| Approach | What the provider documents | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Chrome Shopping Insights | Google describes web product price history and ranges, including for some variants, with tracking and notifications for eligible users. | Country eligibility, Chrome sign-in and sync requirements, consent setting, and whether the insight matches the exact listing. Google help. |
| Amazon Alexa for Shopping | Amazon describes 30-, 90-, and 365-day price-history views; its June 2026 article described a 365-day rollout in the U.S., UK, and India. | Whether the feature and history window are available to you now, and which offer the chart represents. Amazon’s announcement. |
| Keepa | Keepa’s Chrome Web Store listing describes Amazon price-history charts, price-drop and availability alerts, and marketplace comparisons for named Amazon domains. | Supported marketplace and product, extension permissions, and whether the tracked offer matches your intended seller and condition. Keepa listing. |
| CamelCamelCamel | Its support index discusses price checks, price watches, offer-price discrepancies, third-party offers, missing price types, and shipping and handling. | Do not infer a full feature set or territory coverage from the support index alone; check the current service details and compare the tracked offer with checkout. CamelCamelCamel support. |
This is a feature comparison based on provider descriptions, not a ranking of accuracy, savings, coverage, or privacy. The available evidence does not establish which multi-retailer tracker is broadest or most accurate, and no head-to-head independent test of alert latency, matching errors, or savings is established here.
Check privacy before installing or enabling tracking
Review what information the service collects, how it uses and shares it, and whether you can delete it. The FTC advises: “Be sure you understand what information the app collects, and find out how it’s shared, why it’s shared, and what other companies it’s shared with.” See the FTC’s consumer guidance and the specific provider’s current privacy policy.

Data practices vary by service. As one example of the details to look for, Dipper’s policy, last updated June 28, 2026, says users submit product URLs; the service retrieves public pages on a schedule, extracts product title, price, currency, and availability, stores timestamped history, and sends alerts. It lists account email, tracked URLs and product data, usage counters, technical data, and subprocessors. This is Dipper’s disclosure, not evidence about other trackers or an independent privacy audit. Read its privacy policy alongside the policy for any service you consider.
Verify the offer before you buy
A historical low or a drop alert does not establish that the current listing is the best available offer. The seller may differ, the item may be used or otherwise in a different condition, shipping may be excluded, or the reported price may not match the offer you can select. CamelCamelCamel’s support topics acknowledge differences between tracked and reported offers, some third-party offer exclusions, and shipping and handling distinctions.

Choose based on how you shop
If you only check prices occasionally, a browser feature may be enough if it supports your country, retailer, and preferred device. If most of your tracking is on Amazon, a dedicated history-and-alert tool may be more relevant, provided it supports your marketplace and the listing you want. For shoppers using several retailers, verify each retailer and product individually rather than assuming a service is comprehensive. In every case, let your privacy comfort and the accuracy of the product match matter as much as the number of features.
