What does each choice involve?
Mario Kart World: racing and roaming
Nintendo describes a vast interconnected environment with races across connected courses and the option to explore at your own pace. Choose it if you want racing to be the central draw but like having space to explore between races. Nintendo’s bundle and announcement pages provide broad descriptions; they do not establish the specific multiplayer modes or player counts for the game in this bundle.
Donkey Kong Bananza: destructive exploration
Donkey Kong and Pauline travel through a subterranean world. Donkey Kong can crash through walls, carve tunnels, punch into the ground, and tear terrain loose; Nintendo says smashing opens more areas. Pauline’s singing empowers Bananza transformations. Choose it if the appeal of exploration is not just finding a route, but making one by altering the surroundings.

#1 Best Overall
- Race from one course to another through interconnected paths that span the world
- Traverse mountains, forests, cities, and more—with shifting weather patterns and a day/night cycle
- Ride on rails, jump off walls, skim across water, and more as you race for the finish line
- Take on the adrenaline-packed Knockout Tour—a fierce 24-driver elimination mode
- Explore courses at your own pace and wander the world to discover fun surprises in Free Roam
Pokémon Pokopia: crafting and restoration
In Nintendo’s description, Ditto has taken human form and works to restore a desolate world through crafting and building while befriending Pokémon. Choose it if you are more interested in making and restoring a place than in racing or breaking through terrain. The premise alone does not establish a particular pace, difficulty, or accessibility profile.
How to make the choice
- Pick the activity you want to repeat. Choose racing and roaming for Mario Kart World, destructive traversal and discovery for Donkey Kong Bananza, or crafting, building, and restoration for Pokémon Pokopia.
- Consider the kind of structure you prefer. If you want races, lean toward Mario Kart World; if you want exploration that changes the terrain, consider Donkey Kong Bananza; if you want a life-simulation premise centered on creation, consider Pokémon Pokopia.
- Make your selection before redeeming the code. Nintendo Support’s instructions have you select one eligible game and review that choice before redeeming. The code downloads one game only.
What the bundle includes—and what it costs
Nintendo describes the bundle as including the console and a “Choose One” download code insert for one of three select games. The game is digital, not a physical copy in the box. Nintendo’s US announcement on May 12, 2026, said participating retailers would begin offering the bundle in early June at a suggested retail price of $499.99, including one game download code. Nintendo stated maximum savings of up to $29.99 compared with separate purchases at MSRP. The announcement listed then-current regular game prices of $79.99 for Mario Kart World and $69.99 each for Donkey Kong Bananza and Pokémon Pokopia. These are announced US offer terms, not guaranteed current prices: Nintendo says savings and offer dates vary by retailer, and the US bundle page says supplies are limited and actual savings may vary. Check current retailer listings for availability and pricing. Nintendo’s May 12, 2026 announcement and its US bundle page provide the offer details.

Nintendo lists additional controllers, the Nintendo Switch 2 Camera, microSD Express card, Joy-Con 2 Wheel set, and other items separately.
