Compare your Windows PC’s processor, graphics card, RAM, operating system, DirectX support, and free storage with NCSoft’s official AION 2 Global requirements. The minimum tier is the compatibility baseline—not a guarantee of a particular frame rate or smooth performance in every scene.
What are AION 2’s PC requirements?
NCSoft’s AION 2 Global Support FAQ, dated July 21, 2026, lists these minimum and recommended specifications. The official FAQ and the Steam listing present the same table.

NCSoft’s FHD notes specify the graphics preset for compatibility at that resolution. The published requirements do not state a target frame rate, performance at resolutions above FHD, or expected results in crowded scenes, so meeting a tier does not guarantee a particular experience.
How to check your PC’s specifications
- Check your processor and RAM. Open Settings > System > About and note the processor and installed memory. You can also open Task Manager > Performance and select CPU and Memory.
- Identify the exact graphics card. In Task Manager > Performance > GPU or Device Manager > Display adapters, record the model. Compare the full model name with the listed GTX 1050 Ti or RTX 2070, rather than judging by a PC’s age or a broad graphics-card series.
- Confirm Windows is 64-bit. In Settings > System > About, check System type for a 64-bit operating system.
- Check DirectX support. Press Windows key + R, enter dxdiag, and press Enter. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool displays the installed DirectX version on its System tab. The game’s listed requirement is DirectX 12.
- Check available space on the intended install drive. Open File Explorer > This PC and look at the free space on that drive. The requirement is 100 GB available; NCSoft recommends an SSD, but does not list one as mandatory.
How to decide whether your PC meets the requirements
Compare each component separately against the minimum column, then against the recommended column. A processor above the minimum does not make up for a graphics card or amount of memory below its own minimum. The table names specific CPU and GPU models; NCSoft does not provide a scanner or a conversion method for deciding whether every differently branded or borderline part is equivalent.

- At or above minimum on every listed component: Your PC matches the published minimum baseline. At FHD, NCSoft specifies the Very Low preset for compatibility. This is not a frame-rate or smoothness guarantee.
- At or above recommended on every listed component: Your PC matches the recommended baseline. At FHD, NCSoft specifies the Low preset; the table still does not promise a particular frame rate.
- Below minimum or uncertain on any component: Treat the result as unresolved rather than assuming another stronger component will compensate. For hardware not named in the table, use a reliable direct comparison before deciding.
What to check before upgrading
First identify the specific requirement your PC misses. If you are considering an SSD because your computer lacks space or uses a hard drive, remember that SSD storage is recommended, not required. Before buying a drive, check your computer’s supported drive size, interface, and available slot; a 1 TB SSD is not a universal fit for every PC.
The official table gives no comparative FPS or value information for upgrade options. It can show which published baseline you are short of, but it cannot establish how much a particular upgrade will improve performance.

Not from the game requirements alone: the result depends on your exact configuration. To compare your PC, gather the processor model, graphics-card model, RAM, Windows version and architecture, DirectX version, and free storage on the installation drive. Regional clients may publish different details; the figures here apply to AION 2 Global for PC.
