To check whether a PC game uses Denuvo Anti-Tamper, start with the exact game’s storefront page and look for a third-party DRM disclosure naming Denuvo. If the page has no such notice, check the game’s publisher license agreement and then corroborate with a current DRM reference or community report. A missing disclosure alone does not prove the game is Denuvo-free.
Check the game’s storefront page
Open the PC store page for the specific game and inspect its DRM disclosures. On Steam, community guidance reports that a notice may appear on the right side of the page with wording such as “Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-Tamper.” The exact layout can change, and Steam does not necessarily show the notice for every title, so treat it as a useful clue rather than a complete inventory. Make sure you are looking at the correct edition and storefront. A disclosure for a different platform or edition may not establish what the PC version you plan to buy uses.
Search the publisher’s license agreement
Look for the game’s EULA or license agreement and search the text for “Denuvo” and “Denuvo Anti-Tamper.” Confirm that the agreement applies to the same game and, where stated, the relevant version, region, and storefront. A license can disclose how a technology may be used, but a general or older agreement is not definitive proof that a particular current build includes it.

For example, a SEGA agreement for a specific game says the product “may be protected” by Denuvo Anti-Tamper and describes possible installation, activation, online-connection, and retained-file conditions. Those are terms in that agreement, not universal features of every Denuvo-protected game. SEGA EULA hosted on Steam
Use secondary references as corroboration
When the storefront and license do not settle the question, check a current community curator report or a DRM reference such as PCGamingWiki. These sources can help identify a title’s reported DRM, but community information may lag behind a game update or be incomplete. A current, game-specific publisher statement or storefront disclosure is stronger evidence when available. Steam community guidance

If sources conflict, compare them by authority, recency, scope, and specificity: prefer a current publisher or storefront statement over an older community entry; check that each source refers to the same game, PC platform, storefront, version, and region; and look for explicit “Denuvo Anti-Tamper” wording rather than a generic reference to DRM or Steam.
Distinguish Denuvo from Steam DRM
Steam’s DRM wrapper and Denuvo Anti-Tamper are separate protections. Valve says, “The Steam DRM wrapper by itself is not an anti-piracy solution,” and explains that the wrapper may be used alongside other DRM or anti-tampering systems. Therefore, seeing that a game uses Steam—or Steam’s wrapper—does not establish whether it also uses Denuvo. Steamworks: Steam DRM

Why file verification is not a Denuvo check
Steam’s “Verify integrity of game files” feature checks whether installed game files are installed correctly. Valve’s instructions do not describe it as a way to identify DRM, so a verification result cannot confirm or rule out Denuvo. Steam Support: Verify Integrity of Game Files
