On a OnePlus phone, open Settings > Battery > Battery Health if that option is available, then review the health or maximum-capacity reading shown. The menu and the information it displays depend on the model and OxygenOS version; battery-usage details can help diagnose drain but are not a capacity measurement.
Check for a battery-health reading in Settings
- Open Settings and tap Battery.
- Look for Battery Health or Battery health. If present, open it and review any health or maximum-capacity value displayed.
- If you do not see the option, use Settings search for battery health. Confirm your model and OxygenOS version in the phone’s device information, then consult the manual or support page for that exact model.
The OxygenOS 14.0 manual documents Settings > Battery > Battery health > Smart charging, but that establishes the submenu on devices covered by that manual—not on every OnePlus phone. The OnePlus Open manual cautions: “Functions may vary with different models. Please refer to your actual phone.”
OnePlus Community posts describe users who cannot find a battery-health percentage, but those reports are model- and software-specific anecdotes. A missing percentage alone does not show that the battery has failed. The available manuals do not establish a complete list of OnePlus models and OxygenOS releases that display numerical capacity.
Know what the battery screen is measuring
Battery health or maximum capacity
If your phone provides a health or capacity figure, that is the relevant built-in reading for checking how much capacity the system reports. The exact label and availability vary, so use the information shown on your own device rather than assuming every OnePlus phone provides a percentage.

Battery usage
Battery-usage screens show power consumed by apps or processes. They are useful when runtime suddenly worsens: look for an app or process using an unexpectedly large share and investigate its activity or settings. Usage is not a direct test of the battery’s remaining maximum capacity. The OnePlus 9 manual describes usage since full charge, while the OxygenOS 14.0 manual describes battery-use details for the last 24 hours; labels and time periods can differ by model and software.
Smart Charging
Smart Charging manages charging rather than measuring current capacity. The OxygenOS 14.0 manual says it can learn charging habits and adjust the charging pattern—for example, pausing at 80% overnight and resuming before you wake. That behavior is not a battery-health percentage or diagnostic result.

Use a third-party app only as an estimate
If your model has no built-in capacity reading, a monitoring app such as AccuBattery may estimate battery health from charging data it collects. Its help materials describe a health screen and manual benchmarking. Allow time for charging sessions to be recorded, and treat the result as an estimate—not an official OnePlus diagnostic or a guaranteed precise measurement. The available sources do not establish that one third-party app is more accurate than another across OnePlus phones.
