To change your character’s face, hair, or body, open Settings > Customization and follow the prompt to use an Appearance Change Voucher or pay the Quna amount shown in your client. To change how equipped gear looks, use the separate wardrobe or Closet cosmetic system. Eligibility, menu labels, and costs can vary, so check the live client before confirming.
Choose what you want to change

These are separate functions: editing character-creator choices does not change the appearance of equipped gear. Recent guides describe gear cosmetics as a wardrobe or Closet/transmog feature, though labels may differ by build or region. GamesRadar GameLeap
Change your character’s appearance
- Open Settings > Customization. This is the post-creation route reported by a recent guide. GamesRadar
- If the option is unavailable, check the level and other requirements displayed in your current client. One guide reports that the character must reach Level 10, but that requirement is not established as universal across regions or builds. GameLeap
- Review the payment prompt. Guides describe applying the change with an Appearance Change Voucher or paying Quna. One guide reports a 600-Quna charge without a voucher; treat that as guide-specific, not a guaranteed current price. Use the amount and eligibility shown in your client. GamesRadar GameLeap
- Make and review the changes, then read the final confirmation before applying them. The available sources do not establish an undo period or refund policy.
NCSOFT announced that AION 2’s character creator offers more than 200 customization options, including body shape, skin tone, eye color, and muscle definition. Change the appearance of equipped gear
For gear visuals, open the wardrobe, Closet, or transmog interface available in your client rather than character customization. Recent guides describe this as a separate cosmetic system. Read voucher descriptions carefully. An Appearance Change Voucher for the character editor is not necessarily a gear skin or an item that changes gear appearance.
Check voucher availability and appearance rules
A guide updated September 24, 2026, notes that appearance tickets may be distributed during event windows. Events and rewards can change, so check current in-game notices rather than assuming a free ticket is available. GameLeap

NCSOFT’s AION 2 operation policy generally allows players to customize appearances but prohibits some user-created or distributed appearances. The policy says NCSOFT may change or delete prohibited appearances and apply sanctions. NCSOFT AION 2 Operation Policy
