You cannot center a PHP include itself: PHP inserts the included file into the server-side page, and the browser positions the resulting HTML. Wrap the include in an element, then use text-align: center for text or inline content, or flexbox to center a block such as a card, menu, or form.
How to center text or inline content from an include
Wrap the include in a container and apply text-align: center to that container:

text-align: center;
}This works when the included markup produces text or inline content, such as a link or an inline image. text-align aligns inline-level content inside a block or table-cell; it does not generally move a block element itself. See MDN’s text-align reference.
How to center an included block or component
If the included file outputs a block element, use flexbox on its parent. For horizontal centering with the default row direction:

min-height: 20rem;
}The 20rem value is only an example; set a height or minimum height that suits the layout. Without usable height in the parent, vertical centering may not create a visible change. In a row flex container, justify-content aligns along the horizontal main axis and align-items along the vertical cross axis. See MDN’s flexbox alignment guide.
Keep the include and layout styles in the right places
Put display: flex on the element that contains the included output, not on the PHP include statement. Give the wrapper a specific class so its styling affects only the intended content. PHP’s include documentation explains that the included file is processed as part of the calling script; visual alignment is handled by CSS in the rendered page.

If the included content does not move
- Check whether the included output is text/inline content or a block. Use
text-alignfor the former and flexbox for positioning a child block. - Confirm the flex rule is on the wrapper that directly contains the included output.
- For vertical alignment, check that the wrapper has enough height or minimum height for the alignment to be visible.
- Inspect the rendered HTML in the browser and apply the CSS to the wrapper around that output.
