To cancel an individual Creative Cloud plan purchased directly from Adobe, sign in to your Adobe account, open Plans and payment, and select Manage plan beside the plan you want to end. Choose Cancel your plan, follow the prompts, and finish with Confirm cancellation. Then check Adobe’s confirmation email or your account page to make sure the plan is cancelled.
Cancel a plan purchased directly from Adobe
- Sign in to your Adobe account and open Plans and payment.
- Find the Creative Cloud plan you want to cancel and select Manage plan.
- Select Cancel your plan, review the plan-specific details, and continue through the prompts.
- Select Confirm cancellation to complete the process.
- Check the confirmation email or return to your account page to verify the plan shows as cancelled.
Adobe states: “You can cancel your subscription directly from your Adobe account if you purchased it from Adobe.” Adobe Help Center: Cancel your Adobe trial or subscription.
If you have multiple plans, cancel each one separately; cancelling one plan does not cancel the others. If the cancellation option is unavailable because Adobe is processing a payment or there is a payment problem, Adobe advises waiting 24 hours and trying again.
Use the billing provider’s cancellation route
The company that bills you determines where to cancel. Adobe says subscriptions purchased through a third party are managed by that provider.

- Apple, Google, or Microsoft: use that provider’s cancellation process.
- Creative Cloud for teams purchased directly from Adobe: cancel through the Admin Console.
- Reseller purchase: contact the reseller to cancel.

Understand refunds, fees, and when service ends
The following terms are Adobe’s stated US terms. Your actual cancellation details can depend on your billing channel, plan, region, and how long you have had the subscription. Review the amounts and dates Adobe displays for your plan before confirming; do not assume a refund or estimate a fee from the plan’s advertised price.

Paid apps and services remain available through the current billing period. After the paid term ends, an individual account becomes a free Creative Cloud membership. Adobe’s current account-access guidance says the free cloud-storage allowance is 5 GB. If your files exceed that limit, Adobe gives you 30 days to move files out; after that, you could lose access to some or all files stored on Adobe’s servers.

- Cloud files: Check your storage use and move files you want to keep before the 30-day window ends. You can save a local copy on your computer or, if you prefer, an external SSD; no particular device is required.
- Files already on your computer: They remain accessible locally.
- Lightroom originals: Adobe says originals remain available for one year after membership lapses. During that period, launch Lightroom to download them.
- Generative credits: Any remaining credits received with the subscription expire when the plan is cancelled.
- Adobe account: The account remains active with free membership benefits.
