Muhamad Revanza Rafif Hamdani described building this system in a September 30, 2026 DEV Community article; its counts and results are his account, not independently audited measurements. The useful takeaway is the system design—and the operational problems he encountered—not a guarantee that the same process will produce sales.
What the pipeline does
Hamdani describes a production line that starts with a visual theme and ends with downloadable sticker packs listed in a storefront. In his account, Python orchestrates the work on a small VPS, combining a text-to-image model, a vector tracer, and the Gumroad API. That is the creator’s reported stack, not an independently tested recommendation.
- Generate: Set visual and file constraints, then create a raster sheet containing six icons.
- Vectorize: Trace the raster artwork into paths and export vector formats.
- Package: Assemble individual assets, a sheet, previews, and licensing information.
- Publish and promote: Upload product files and listing details, then direct visitors from discovery pages toward a free sampler and paid products.
How the artwork is generated
The first challenge is consistency across a themed pack. The author reports specifying line weight, color palette, canvas dimensions, transparent backgrounds, and a maximum file size before generating a raster sheet with six icons. Those constraints give the later steps predictable inputs and make the resulting assets easier to package.
The account does not establish that generated artwork will be clean, consistent, or commercially safe without review. A useful production check is to inspect each icon for unwanted background pixels, inconsistent outlines, malformed details, and visual differences that make the set feel unrelated. Fix problems before vectorizing: tracing can convert existing flaws into editable paths, but it does not establish that the artwork is ready to sell.

Why the system creates both raster and vector files
Raster and vector files serve different purposes. The reported package includes transparent PNGs for direct use, a PNG sticker sheet, and EPS and SVG exports. PNGs are convenient for digital use; vector paths can be resized or edited and may suit cutting workflows. A cutting machine is relevant only if the maker or customer wants to physically cut designs.
Hamdani says the SVG and EPS files open in Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Cricut Design Space, and Silhouette Studio. That compatibility claim is his; it was not independently tested. Before offering files to customers, open sample exports in the applications your audience is likely to use and check path quality, sizing, and transparency.

What the downloadable pack contains
The author describes packaging the designs as multiple practical deliverables rather than a single image file:
- Individual transparent PNG stickers.
- A PNG sticker sheet.
- EPS and SVG vector files.
- A preview image for the product listing.
- A plain-language commercial-use license.
Licensing needs its own review. Hamdani warns that clipart described as free may still be limited to personal use, and says his packs included an explicit commercial-use license. The article does not reproduce the license text, so it cannot establish its exact permissions. Review the terms governing every input asset and tool, then write a license that clearly states what buyers may do with the finished files. AI generation alone does not establish commercial rights.

How storefront publishing is automated
In the reported setup, an uploader uses the Gumroad API to send product files, set a permalink, create cover and thumbnail assets, write descriptions, choose categories, and publish listings. Automation can reduce repetitive listing work, but the author’s account highlights two details that need deliberate handling.
Generate a cover for every product
Hamdani says empty product covers harmed conversions and that he addressed the issue by generating covers automatically. He does not provide conversion measurements, so the account supports treating complete covers as a listing-quality requirement, not claiming a quantified sales improvement.

Do not assume summary responses contain everything
The author reports that a product-list API response omitted file and cover details that appeared in a detail endpoint. That describes the API behavior he encountered at publication time; it is not a guarantee about the current API. If an automated workflow depends on those fields, verify the response shape against current Gumroad documentation and test both list and detail calls.
Throttle publishing rather than relying on a remembered limit
Hamdani says his process was limited to 10 new products per day. Treat this as a limit he reported, not a current platform-wide rule: publishing limits can change, so check Gumroad’s current requirements before planning a batch. His article also does not establish that the limit applies to every account or circumstance.

Why a storefront needs discovery pages
Publishing a product does not, by itself, bring prospective buyers to it. Hamdani characterizes Gumroad as “a cash register, not a traffic engine.” In his system, external pages and posts were intended to create discovery paths: he reports 76 SEO pages on a free host, 42 promotional pages on a paste site, Nostr posts, and an internally linked hub. The intended path led from discovery pages to a free sampler and then to paid packs. These are author-reported tactics and counts, not evidence that the pages ranked, attracted traffic, or generated sales.
Hamdani reports creating 118 indexable pages in total—76 SEO pages and 42 promotional pages—and 39 sticker themes. Those figures describe his project as presented in 2026, not a verified benchmark or a promise that one idea reliably produces 39 viable products. The article gives no independent traffic, conversion, or revenue data to show how well the funnel performed.
Keeping the workflow stable on a small server
The author reports using a VPS with 1 vCPU and 2 GB of RAM. He says running the entire pipeline concurrently could crash the server; his response was to measure peak memory for each step and restrict the workflow to one process at a time. This is a practical trade-off: sequential processing can take longer, but it avoids the memory spikes he encountered. The account does not provide reproducible memory measurements or establish what hardware another user will need.
A safer implementation pattern is to process one pack through generation, tracing, packaging, and upload, record failures, then move to the next job. Monitor actual memory use on the machine you choose rather than assuming the author’s reported specification will be sufficient for your model, image dimensions, or software versions.

The strongest reusable idea is the division of work into stages with explicit inputs and checks: constrain the image generation, inspect the raster result, produce and verify vector exports, bundle the files with clear licensing, and validate the listing after upload. The author’s project demonstrates one way to connect those stages; it does not establish that automation guarantees quality, platform compatibility, search visibility, or sales.
