Star Wars: Galactic Racer’s Galactic Tour is its three-act, single-player campaign: you choose events as you progress, and the event sequence is randomized each time a tour begins. Crashing too many times can end the run, forcing you to regroup and start again.
What is Galactic Tour?
Galactic Tour is the game’s campaign, structured as a run through racing events rather than a fixed sequence that plays identically every time. The official StarWars.com game page describes a dynamic campaign where players choose which events to tackle. In its launch-day interview, Xbox Wire describes the Galactic Tour as a three-act journey through events across planets.
How event choices and the route work
As you advance, you choose which events to take on. The tour’s event sequence is randomized whenever you start a new tour, so the route can differ between runs. Randomization does not mean every event is guaranteed to be new; the sources establish a changing sequence, not a rule that events never repeat.
Your decisions shape the route you take through the campaign. In practical terms, you are choosing among available events while weighing progress against the risk of losing the run if you crash too often. That is a way to think about the choices, not a formal in-game decision system.

What happens if you crash too often?
Crashes can have a campaign-level cost: repeated crashes can put you out of the tour. The official story-trailer announcement states, “Crash too many times and you’re out of the tour; then it’s time to regroup, rebuild, and begin again.” It does not specify a numeric crash limit, so there is no supported fixed number of crashes to cite.
Do you complete qualifiers first?
TechRadar’s launch review reports that players complete qualifiers before entering the main Galactic Tour. The official campaign descriptions cited above do not independently detail that step, so treat it as review-reported progression rather than a confirmed rule in the official descriptions.

How the campaign differs from other modes
Campaign is not the only way to race. Official material lists Campaign, Scenario, and Arcade as distinct modes; the story-trailer announcement specifically says players can jump into podracing through Arcade. Podracing also appears within campaign play, so it is not exclusive to Arcade.
