The Fortnite Item Shop rotates on a time shown for your own time zone, but Epic does not promise when a specific skin or bundle will return. Bundle prices can also change based on which included cosmetics your account already owns, so check the offer shown in your Shop before buying or gifting.
How Fortnite Item Shop rotations work
Epic removed the single overall Shop refresh timer and now shows the rotation time in each player’s time zone. Epic’s April 9, 2024 announcement said planned exit dates for individual items would be added to their description pages beginning in late May 2024. See Epic’s announcement about Item Shop updates.
Epic support separately says the in-game Item Shop and Webshop refresh at around 0:00 AM GMT and directs players to “About Shop” for time-zone details. Because the displayed rotation time is localized, use the time shown in your own Shop rather than assuming one fixed local refresh hour. Epic’s refresh-time support answer provides the general timing guidance.

Epic describes the Shop as constantly rotating and advises players to check again if an item is unavailable. It does not publish guaranteed return dates for individual cosmetics, so an item’s previous appearance or an exit date is not a promise of when it will be listed again. Cosmetics may return as standalone listings or as part of a bundle. Epic’s item-return guidance explains this policy.

How bundle contents and prices work
A bundle combines multiple cosmetics into one listing. The Shop shows what is included and may display both a discounted V-Bucks price and the original combined price. For example, an official Five Nights at Freddy’s Bundle page listed 4,500 V-Bucks compared with an original combined price of 11,000 V-Bucks. That is a dated example, not a current or typical price; offers and contents can change. Check the listing in your Shop for the live details. View the official bundle listing.
If you already own some items
When your account owns cosmetics included in a bundle, Epic may reduce the displayed remaining bundle price by the cost of owned cosmetics. The price is account-specific. Buying the remaining cosmetics separately does not necessarily give you the same discount, because individual items are not always discounted in the same way. For gifts, the account-specific discount does not apply; the gifting window shows the gift price. See Epic’s explanation of bundle discounts.

What to check before buying or gifting
- Confirm the included cosmetics and any variants in the current listing.
- Compare the price displayed on your account with any listed individual prices; your owned items may affect the bundle total.
- Check the planned exit date in the item description, if one is displayed.
- For a gift, review the amount shown in the gifting flow rather than relying on your own bundle discount.
Can Battle Pass skins come to the Shop?
Epic says Battle Pass items released after August 7, 2024 may be available in the Shop at least 18 months after their Pass expires. This is a possibility, not a guarantee, and it should not be generalized to every cosmetic from older Battle Passes. Epic does not give a promised listing date. Epic’s item-return guidance covers the policy.
Can you cancel or return a cosmetic purchase?
For eligible in-game cosmetic purchases made with V-Bucks, Epic allows cancellation until you equip or use the cosmetic during gameplay or 24 hours pass, whichever happens first. Canceling removes the content and returns the V-Bucks. After that cancellation window, a Return Ticket may cover an eligible purchase made within the previous 30 days. Epic says accounts start with three tickets, can hold no more than three, and receive a new ticket 365 days after the most recent ticket is added. Returning a bundle returns the bundle purchase, not just a component you already owned. Details and eligibility are in Epic’s cancellation and Return Ticket guidance.
