To control which domains can send events to a Facebook (Meta) Pixel connected to Hostinger AI Builder in manual mode, open the Pixel’s settings in Facebook Events Manager and use Traffic permissions to create either an allow list or a block list. Choose an allow list to accept events only from domains you specify; choose a block list to exclude unwanted domains. Hostinger says you cannot use both list types for the same Pixel.
Review which domains are sending events
Before choosing a list, inspect the domains appearing for the relevant Pixel or dataset. A Pixel may receive events from the site’s primary domain and secondary domains. Hostinger gives builder.hostinger.com as an example of a secondary domain that may appear when the Pixel was configured through Hostinger’s built-in integration.
Open the relevant data source in Facebook Events Manager, then go to Settings and scroll to Traffic permissions. Hostinger’s traffic-permissions instructions describe the available list options.
Choose an allow list or a block list
| List type | What it does | When it may fit |
|---|---|---|
| Allow list | Permits the domains you specify and blocks traffic from other domains automatically. | Use it when you want tighter control and to accept events only from selected domains. |
| Block list | Excludes the domains you add; it does not specify a set of permitted domains. | It may be simpler when an existing Pixel is already receiving events from irrelevant domains. |
Hostinger says an allow list and a block list cannot coexist for the same Pixel. Review the domains first, then select one approach.

#1 Best Overall
Create an allow list
- In Facebook Events Manager, open Data sources and select the relevant Pixel.
- Open Settings, scroll to Traffic permissions, and choose Create allow list.
- Enter a domain you want to permit, continue, and confirm.
- Repeat for each additional permitted domain. Domains not on the list will be blocked automatically, according to Hostinger.
Create a block list
- In Facebook Events Manager, open Data sources and select the relevant Pixel.
- Open Settings, scroll to Traffic permissions, and choose Create block list.
- Add the irrelevant domains you want to exclude.
Hostinger describes a block list as a way to leave the Pixel receiving data only from the domain connected to the website. Check the domains shown for your Pixel before relying on that outcome, especially if secondary domains are involved.
Check the manual-mode connection if events are missing
Traffic permissions control which domains may send events; they do not replace connecting and verifying the site’s Meta integration. Hostinger’s manual-mode connection guide says Meta’s setup for web events uses dataset creation in place of Pixel creation. Its setup flow is:
- Create a dataset in Meta Business Manager and copy its ID.
- In Hostinger AI Builder, open the integrations settings and enter the ID in the Meta Pixel field.
- Save the integration and update the website.
If the expected events do not appear, Hostinger recommends checking these items:
- The website is published.
- The Meta page is public.
- A cookie banner is enabled.
- The dataset ID is present in the integrations settings and has not been added more than once.
- The domain is verified with Meta.
Hostinger describes adding the website domain to the allow list as optional in this connection checklist. These platform checks are not a determination of the consent requirements that apply to your site; those depend on your circumstances and jurisdiction. To inspect activity on the live site, Hostinger suggests visiting it, allowing cookies, and checking with the Facebook Pixel Helper browser extension.
